Lady Small Haven Redevelopment

Construction of the new building is progressing well, with the scaffolding now being removed in stages and internal and external finishes underway.The main site infrastructure works are now completed on Allchurch Avenue, resulting in the creation of a private courtyard for residents.

Construction will cease over the Christmas period, with Friday 20 December 2019 being the last day of work before it re-starts on Monday 6 January 2020. Surveillance and other security measures will continue to be in place during this time.

Progress and work coming up The major concrete pours and the structure of the new building have now been completed. External finishes and landscaping are underway, and some scaffolding has been removed. Before the construction site closes for Christmas, the majority of internal and external finishes are expected to be completed, scaffolding completely removed and all external accesses locked and secured.

The main site infrastructure works are now complete. The area on Allchurch Avenue has been landscaped and a courtyard established which our aged care residents can now enjoy.

Site shut-downThe construction site will close at the end of the day on Friday 20 December 2019 and re-open on Monday 6 January 2020. The building is expected to be at a stage where it can be completely locked prior to this site closure. Other security measures will also continue to be in place, including secure site fencing and 24/7 surveillance.

Sales display apartmentIn addition to the sales display suite on Allchurch Avenue, prospective residents are now able to view a completed display apartment on the first floor of the north-western corner of the new building. This retirement living apartment was finished in advance to enable future residents to see the actual size, shape and finishes of a completed apartment.

The village is continuing to take expressions of interest for the new one, two and three bedroom retirement living apartments. The sales office is open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm by appointment. The sales display suite will close at the end of the day on Friday 20 December and reopen on Monday 6 January.

A look aheadThe site will accommodate a new building with 65 retirement living apartments and a clubhouse. Estimated completion date is mid-2020. Our long term vision is to enhance retirement and aged care facilities for the Gold Coast region.
