We still have enough time to get our attendance back above 95%! An ALL SCHOOL FIELD TRIP in June will be planned to celebrate if we end in June above 95%! Our school rating and each students’ long term success is hindged on having great attendance! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Congratulations to Mrs. Wiseman, Mrs. Boyd & Mrs. Cloney’s classrooms who met the 96% attendance challenge and won an ice cream party! Congratulations!!! Congraulations to Mrs. Harnedy who won a classroom grant from the Meemic Foundation that will allow her the opportunity to select great items from Lakeshore Learning from the grant! Awesome! Congratulations to Mrs. Brandt who had her Donor’s Choose Classroom Project fully funded!!! Thank you to our Cassell Supporters! Challenge The classroom with the best attendance in March will earn a paid field trip for their class! All classrooms that have 96% or better attendance in March will earn a pizza fun lunch.

Spirit Week 3/19-3/23

Student Council will be sponsoring a spirit week for the

entire school the week of 3/19! Students may bring a

donation to school to support the Student Council.

Monday 3/19: PJ Day- Wear your favorite pajamas to

school!

Tuesday 3/20: Duo Day- Dress like someone else!

Wednesday 3/21: Salad Dressing Day-dress like your

favorite salad dressing: Ranch (Cowboy), Caesar (togas and

sandals), Thousand Island (Caribbean/Hawaiian), Blue

Cheese (Blue), French (berets and fashionable clothes),

House Dressing (school colors), etc.

Thursday 3/22: Circe of Life Day- Students may dress

like any age group they want, from newborn to the elderly.

Friday 3/23: Student/Teacher Day- Students dress like

teachers, and teachers dress like students!

PARCC Testing- 3rd through 8th Grade

The Illinois State Assessment,

PARCC, will begin on Monday, March

12th. Students in grades 3rd-8th will

be administered the state

assessment in Reading & Math.
