Sports Carnival Congratulations to all of our students for their participation and wonderful sportsmanship during the faction carnival sports events. Well done to all of our medallion winners and congratulations to HAMERSLEY FACTION on your overall win! Thank you to all staff and parent helpers and to our community for your support. The interschool team is off early Friday morning and we wish them all the very best. Open Evening Next Thursday is our Open Evening. We invite all parents and caregivers to come and have a look at their children’s classrooms and learning. The school will be open from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. Assemblies Thank you to Room 6 for your very educational and entertaining assembly last week. I will be purchasing Easter Bilby’s as opposed to Easter bunnies next year! The date for our next assembly has changed. Room 3 will host the assembly on Thursday 26 th September at 8.30am. Wildflower Excursion The students had beautiful sunshine for their excursion to Ravensthorpe on Monday. They all visited the Wildflower Show, Art Gallery, Giant Lollipop, the Museum and the new Nature Playground. By all reports the students thoroughly enjoyed their day. Thanks goes to RRAC/Lotterwest Grant for donating the cost of the bus hire. Penne Metcalf Principal
