Chocolate Fundraiser

Fundraising is an integral part of

our activities throughout the

year and means that we can

provide equipment and first

class instruction for our rallies.

In order to keep our

membership fees low, we rely

on fundraising to supplement

our income. Very soon we will

be receiving boxes of Cadbury

chocolates and we would

appreciate every family taking a

box of chocolates to sell. Justine

is organising this and will be

bringing the chocolates to a rally

very soon.

I would like to welcome all our new and old riders to our first Newsletter for

some time.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to Kim, Penny O and Jane, who for

various reasons, have had to resign from their roles on our Committee. Their

time and service to our club have been invaluable. I would also like to thank

Lyn for taking on the role as President. We have yet to fill the position of

Secretary so if anyone is interested then please speak to either myself or Jane

to find out what is involved.

I would like to wish our Junior and Senior games teams the best of luck as

they compete at the Northern Zones Games competition at Gravelly Beach

on Sunday 8th May. Many thanks to Steph and Helen for their dedicated

coaching of the teams and for ensuring our games gear is in perfect condition

for the day.

I would finally just like to remind parents that if you can assist at Rallies,

either setting up equipment, packing away equipment or helping in the

canteen then we would appreciate this very much. The more parents who

are able to assist means less work for all involved.

POSITIONS VACANT DDPC Secretary – must be able to

attend meetings, take minutes and

send the occasional letter. No

experience necessary, we are willing

to train you. Non paying job but very

rewarding.

anything you wish to buy and sell

and I will advertise in this space.

Please send recipes to Lyn as soon as possible so that she

can put together our recipe book ready for Mothers Day.

Justine will order fundraising chocolates and hand out soon.

Possibly only have grade 4 & 5 ODE late February next year.

Consider hosting State Trials in 2018.

Need to put our name on all of our jumping, dressage and

games equipment.

Members are interested in attending a TD/CD information

session. Waiting for more info from PCT.

Interschools Games would be a good fundraiser. Possibly

look into for 2017.

NEWS

There is no parking of horse floats

on the grass area adjacent to the

poultry shed. This area needs to be

kept clear so that we can access the

shed to get our jump trailer out and

back in again.

Please remember to remove all

manure, hay and rubbish at the

end of the day.
