    CLUB ADMIN

LESSON ETIQUETTE!!!Please make sure that you arrive in timeto start the lesson promptly. Late arrivals

disrupt the lesson and also increase therisk of injuries etc because the studentsare missing the warm up.

Please also bring a drink of water in asports bottle to the class. Whilst there is

water available at the Reception Desk inSwanmore, we would prefer if studentsdidnt have to leave the training hall to

    get a drink.

Attached is a price list for newsuits and equipment from Kwon. For more information about any ofthe items, please visitwww.Kwon.comThe prices we can offer aresignificantly lower than those youwould have to pay to buy directly

from Kwon because we get a clubdiscount. The prices are aimed tocover delivery costs, but if anysurplus is made on an order it willbe put into club funds and used topurchase club equipment. The nextorder will be placed in October, soif you would like to buy anything, please let Tessa know by 31stJanuary.

    SUITS ANDSTUFF!!

    YOUR CLUB MATTERS!

GREEN BELTS AND ABOVEStephens lesson in Swanmore onThursdays (6pm-7.30pm) is open to anyone who is a green belt or over. At

these lessons we cover the gradingsyllabus for these more senior grades,so anyone who wishes to grade for blue

tag or above should ensure that theycome to as many of the Thursdaysessions as possible.

It would be great to see some of our

new green belts at that lesson!

    As students progress through the

grades, the examiners expect to seetechniques improving in all areas of thesyllabus, and students are required to

show that they remember everythingthey have been previously tested on.For these reasons, the frequency that a

student will grade will generally drop

by 3 or 6 months between gradings. Ifyou come to the lessons regularly and

work hard, the Instructors will ensurethat you continue to progress and gradewhen you are ready.

If you have moved house, orchanged your phone number(including mobile number),

please let us know so that we can

update our records. It isimportant that we have a current

contact number for all studentsso that we can get in touch in anemergency.
