CEO Summit 2018

The 2018 CWT Globelink Group’s CEO Summit have brought

together close to 50 representatives from Globelink offices around

the world, This year’s CEO Summit was held on 22 and 23 of May

at Swissôtel The Stamford, which is strategically located in the heart

of Singapore amidst world-class shopping, dining, entertainment

and business opportunities.

The event kicked off with our Executive Chairman, Mr. CW Tan,

giving a key note speech, providing updates on the Group’s

Performance and the industry outlook, followed by our Group

CEO, Mr. Daniel Tok, sharing strategic directions for the Group.

The annual event was a great opportunity to engage delegates in

interactive group discussions, as well as enabling offices to

exchange knowledge and insights on corporate strategies and

industry trends for the year ahead.

The 2018 Summit welcomes two new members to

the global Globelink network - Globelink West Star

Shipping Saudi Arabia & Globelink (Mauritius) Ltd.

The representative from each of these offices took

the stage to present an introduction of their office

to the Group.

Each of the event days ended off with a sumptuous dinner, where everyone had the chance to

unwind and network in a casual setting.

As with the other years, the CEO Summit proves to be an effective platform for Globelink offices to

get together to connect and share market trends in their local context and to also explore strategic

market opportunities.

New Member of the Assemble of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping (İMEAK DTO) – Mr Cihan Yusufi (Globelink Unimar)

We extend our heartiest congratulations to our colleague, Mr Cihan Yusufi, for being

elected to be the new Member of the Assembly in the Turkish Chamber of Shipping 37th

Committee.

The new Board of Directors were elected during the election held at Lütfi Kırdar Congress

Center on 8 April 2018. The election saw the Chamber come under new leadership with a

team lead by Mr. Tamer Kiran.

We are very proud to share the honour of My Yusufi’s success in the election and thank

him for his contribution to the Turkish Shipping Industry.
