Attention Parents

Remember during FCAT testing we are in QUIET SCHOOL. If possible, minimize visits to insure minimal distractions to students testing. Also, SAT testing will be held on the 23rd. for 2nd grade students only.

Congratulations!!!  The following students will represent Cox Elementary at the Pasco County Elementary STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fair. The fair will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at River Ridge Middle School. You are all invited to attend to support our innovative winners. Thank you for all that you do.  

Volunteers FCAT testing starts on April 14, 2014 and runs through April 30th. We ask that all volunteer speak with their assigned teacher to be sure their time doesn’t in any way conflict with the testing schedule. We will resume a normal schedule on May 1, 2014. Remember, you can at anytime go to the Pasco Schools website (Pasco.k12.fl.us) and complete the application for volunteering. Parent Involvement Conversation starters: DID YOU KNOW: Students have the right to a fair amount of personal privacy. If school personnel have a reason to believe that the students have items that are against the law, they may check the students and their belongings. It is the responsibility of the student to keep themselves and their belongings free of items that might cause harm or are against the law, and to report the presence of such items to school staff.

3rd Grade is working hard to prepare for the FCAT. Students are participating in both reading and math camp to practice the skills they have learned this year. It is a fun way to group the students and get them excited about learning. It has been very successful !!!!
