Besides, Ocalan also met with his brother and conveyed a message in that meeting. Ocalan once more reminded his remarks in 2019 that he has the power to end the crises in Turkey and the Middle East.

THE QUARREL IN TE PARLIAMENT CONTINUE IN JUDICIARY

Erdogan accused the ones who call for normalizing the relations with Damascus and called them "dishon-orable, ignoble, and traitor." Since CHP Chair Kilicdaroglu is asking for making a deal with Syria, a CHP Deputy Engin Ozkoc, slammed Erdoğan by the same words. When Ozkoc took the floor in the General Assembly, AKP lawmakers rushed to confront him, and the CHP deputies gathered around him. Then a hustle and fistfight broke out. Erdogan filed a compensation suit against Ozkoc asking 1 million Turkish lira while Kilicadroglu reciprocated in the same way, asking 5 pence. Ankara Chief Prosecutor launched a prosecution against Ozkoc for insulting the president, which might cause Ozkoc to lose his immunity. A lawmaker also broke his hand while fisting Ozkoc's head.

JOURNALISTS TESTIFY AFTER THE STATEMENTS OF AN MP

Reminding the investigations launched against journalists for reporting on the death of MIT members, former MHP lawmaker asks minister of justice to launch an investigation against Iyi Party deputy Umit Ozdag. Ozdag was the first person who exposed the details about the death of MIT members in the parlia-ment. It is assumed that the government preferred to hide the martyrs since they are afraid of the reactions of the citizens for sending Turkish soldiers to Libya.

Soon after 33 Turkish soldiers killed in Idlib due to Russian and Syrian attacks, Erdogan said the dead soldiers would take their place at "the hill of martyrs." The Chair of CHP, Kilicdaroglu, opposed that argument stressing that "the hill of martyrs will be empty under CHP ruling." The president also accused Kilicdaroglu of siding with Assad since he urged a political solution to avoid further casualties. MHP Chair Devlet Bahceli refused to shake the hands of Kilicdaroglu during the funeral ceremony of a martyr who lost his life in Idlib. Another lawmaker from MHP showed a similar reaction. It is alleged that Bahceli will never shake Kilicdaroglu's hands anymore due to the words of Kilicdaroglu on the hill of martyrs.

FORBIDDING DEMONSTRATIONS AGAINST IDLIB OPERATION

Amid the Operation Spring Shield against Syria in Idlib, Istanbul governor's office banned meetings and demonstration marches, press statements, opening stands, gathering signatures, leaflets, distributing brochures, and similar activities that are aimed at criticizing the military operations. Turkey and Russian agreement on the ceasefire kicked off a new discussion on whether it is allowed to demonstrate for asking peace or not. By the decision, demonstrations for women are also banned.
