y grandfather was a farmer his entire life. He alwayshad crops growing or was planning the next ones to beplanted. I grew up watching the satisfaction he hadgained from growing all kinds of vegetables. I have

hared in church on occasion of how he built a porch on the side ofis house so he could begin and end his days looking over the field

hat he had toiled in during each day. I had the privilege to siteside him many, many times as he so contently stared at what

was growing before his eyes. My grandfather had somethingrowing all the way till the end of his life.

I have very much enjoyed what the Lord has taught ourWednesday night adult gathering this year from the book, In My

athers Vineyard. We have learned why Jesus chose a vineyardo teach about the Kingdom of God. What was intended to be an 8week series turned into a much longer time to take note word forword of what the young man whom the story is about learned fromwatching his father grow a 32 acre grape Vineyard.

I believe I will never look at the Kingdom of God and theords church the same way again. I always have thought that ahurch should be a working vineyard. The resources used by thehurch should bring a return from the investment. A people returnhat is. New people brought into the Kingdom are the fruit the Lordooks for above any other and each year there should be anncrease from what is planted, water, and harvested. HowI wasot sure. But thanks be to God it was revealed to a small group ofeople who now have the responsibility and opportunity to make aifference by sharing Gods vineyard plan and sowing into the

arvest he wants to see from us.

One of John Wimbers (John was used by God to start theAssociation of Vineyard Churches) quotes went something like this.Discipleship is putting someone who doesnt know how to doomething with someone who does until both of them know how too it. In other words this is how you make disciples!

Like my grandfather, I have a porch that looks over myackyard and the field behind it. The only crops I get to oversee

here is the plants and grass I try to grow. I too find myself theseays sitting in a rocking chair overlooking the fruit of my labor inying to make my yard look better each year.

In conclusion, I dont have a rocking chair over looking Gexpression of His kingdom known as the Vineyard ChurcLeesburg, but I think God does. And somehow I think he tgreat joy spending his mornings and evenings looking over whahas done in this part of His vineyard this year. We have becoworking vineyard more this year than any other. Great things been done in the Name of the Lord and there had been a greturn on His investments into us. Yes, these are small beginin ways but they are in the right direction.

I pray that this season brings peace to you and as thisgrowing year is behind us I hope you take the time to oveGods vineyard and enjoy the fruit of your contribution into

growing and caring process. Now is the time to make planscommitments to invest your lives this New Year into the truly important thing we are here forthe advancement of the Kingof God in the harvesting of people who do not know our SJesus Christ. Nothing else will crossover to Heaven usNOTHING! except the people we helped find their waChrist!

What a true blessing and honor it is to serve with some of theof Gods people in this wonderful expression of Gods vineyard

May God bless you, your family and this New Year!

    Look at what YOU did!!!!

aking a look back at what The Storehouse hasaccomplished this year, it makes my heart very happyand I know God is pleased as well. Thanks to you, wefed a lot of people. With your donations and the hard

work of volunteers we had a very successful year. In Aprilwe gave away 100 bags of groceries. You delivered tohose that you knew needed help. Thank you!!! There was achool looking for food for several families. We were able toelp them because of your hard work and generosity not to

    mention all of the others!!!

We developed a summer program. We gave away peanututter, jelly, bread, cereal, milk, and paper products every

Friday morning. This enabled children in our neighborhoodso have food during the summer. It lifted a burden fromingle moms and the elderly who physically cant get around.

The opportunities to help are endless. We discovered thatmany who need food have no transportation to come and

ick up food so we began delivering to certain individualswho were wheelchair bound or who had no transportation.

This past Thanksgiving you helped 21 families receive aThanksgiving meal and we are doing the same forChristmas. The saying that it is more blessed to give than toeceive is absolutely true.

We have been able to pray with people, talk to them about

esus and feed them at the same time. Hallelujah!!!!

We have some goals for the year of 2013 which will includeot only food but those items that cant be purchased with

ood stamps, such as soaps, toilet paper, tooth paste, hampoos, deodorants, etc. which we will be referring to thiss our gap ministry. We hope to also hook up with secondarvest food bank to be able to feed more people throughout

    he year.

Thank you Warehouse family for all that you do. Because ofour generosity we are the light that Jesus spoke of.

    esus said: (Mat 5:14) You are the light of the world. A cityet on a hill cannot be hidden;

Mat 5:15) nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under aasket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all whore in the house.

Mat 5:16) "Let your light shine before men in such a wayhat they may see your good works, and glorify your Fatherwho is in heaven.

Happy New Year and Many Blessings!!!!!

    Changing SeasonsChanging SeasonsChanging SeasonsChanging Seasons

hose of you not from Florida understand the beautythe changing of the seasons. It can be winter

spring, spring to summer, summer to fall or fall bainto winter. Within each of these transitions, v

deliberate things have to happen. Changes begin to occur tstop one season and within that same process, it births tbeginning of the next. In essence, one thing dies while anotbrings forth life. The Bible even talks about things changingEcclesiastes. It says that to everything there is a season antime for every purpose under heaven. Bottom line is tTHINGS CHANGE.

In life, we endure constant changing. When you are bornis a change of environment and you have to begin doing thinon your own. As you grow older, your life changes and yhave to do more things for yourself. When you reach adulthoyou support yourself. Then there is the marriage transitiAnd lets not ignore the transition of adding babies to t

picture. Then there are the changes in your family of havsomeone in the house going through puberty. Then we haveendure the changes of the baby moving out on their o(empty nest syndrome). The point here is that in practically every aspect of your life, yencounter change. You have changes at work. You hachanges within the family picture. You go through changesyour relationship with Christ (not because of Him because Hethe same yesterday, today and forever). You have friechanges where you actually have to change with whom yassociate. You might have to change physical locations athen start all over with new friends. CHANGE, CHANGCHANGE AND MORE CHANGE.

How tough would it be to hold onto winter and not welcomspring? Impossible, right? When Christ is letting you stretched, how tough is it to hold onto the past and still get where He wants you to be? Impossible, right? If your changes and you are doing something different, can you shold onto the old job and do the new one? The answer is no.

The direction I am heading here is that it isnt always a band negative thing when changes come into your life. In same mind set, it isnt always a great and joyous time eithWhat is for sure is that change will come. I would encourageof us to understand that there is a season to everything andtime for every purpose. If you see that things in your life achanging, try to recognize them and see what the change wbring. If the change means that you leave yesterday in the pand you have to move in a new direction with tomorrow, do sTo hold onto the past and live in the present will only make y

and whoever/whatever else is involved, very muddy and upsThat in turn could bring about issues that might not be able be reconciled easily. Dont try to hold onto something thatobviously changing and is out of your control. It would be lstopping a river from twisting and turning.

    Just some food for thought.

May I Finish WellMay I Finish WellMay I Finish WellMay I Finish Well

used to receive the Intercessors for America Newsletterevery month and in the March 2007 issue; I read PresidentGeorge W. Bush speech for the National Prayer Breakfast,

ebruary 1, 2007.President Bush said, We are a nation of Prayer. America

rays. ...The greatest gift a citizen of this country can give those ofs entrusted with political office is to pray for us. And I thank those

n our nation who lift all of us up in prayer. He continued byharing that prayer changes hearts. Prayer changes lives. Prayerpens doors for lives to be touched. We are called to love oureighbors, as we would like others to love us and to love ourselves. He saw this as grace in the midst of lifes atrocities.

He gave a number of examples. One that struck me is thetory of Father Mychal Judge, a chaplain with the New York City

ire Department and a young woman named Shannon Hickey.Growing up she was deeply affected by Father Mychal. You seeShannon struggled with liver disease and Father Mychal helped her

nd the family through these challenging times. On September 11,001, Father Mychal lost his life in the World Trade Center.

Shannon passes on to all who will listen, her memory of her friendnd has founded a non-profit organization in his name, dedicated toharing Father Mychals loving and giving spirit.

Shannon distributes a card with one of Father Mychalsersonal prayers. It reads: Did God answer his prayer? Yes, he

was at the right place at the right time. Father Mychal was in touchwith destiny.

But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and byhe word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives somuch that they were afraid to die.(Rev.12:11, NET)

Sometime back, so many years ago, I acquired this prayers a guide to share my heart. Off hand, I cannot remember where Iicked this up. May I share it with you?

Lord, Im Yours. Whatever the cost may be, may Your wille done in my life. I realize Im not here on earth to do my own

hing, or to seek my own fulfillment or my own glory. Im not here tondulge my desires, to increase my possessions, to impress people,o be popular, to prove Im somebody important, or to promotemyself. Im not here even to be relevant or successful by humantandards. Im here to please You. Lord, I am here to be faithfulnd not successful.

I offer myself to You, with all my flaws, for You are worthy.

All that I am or hope to be, I owe to You. Im Yours by creation,nd every day I receive from You life, breath and protection. ImYours because You bought me, and the price You paid was the

recious blood of Christ your Son. You alone, the Triune God, areworthy to be my Lord and Master. I yield to You, my gracious andglorious heavenly Father; to the Lord Jesus who loved me andgave Himself for me; to the Holy Spirit and His gracious influence

nd empowerment.I want to obey you when the Holy Spirit tells me to take

leasure in life. I want to wait, to rest and enjoy you Jesus, to sing, lay and to appreciate the period of developing a sure foundation.

Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision youave for me comes into play. There is nothing I can do to hurry

    what you have appropriated, preordained.

It is by Grace, God you are always on time, not a minute lateminute early. I hear you telling me, Happy is the man... giggle, laugh and skip Splash, whistle, clap and yell (Haba2:3, NLT).

I know the stories of the Bible and have some apprecof Your Word but I dont always understand what it is trying toto me. I look at Scripture with a human perspective and try tout nuggets that will soothe my soul. Mold and change meGodliness no matter how painful it might be to get the job done-- righteousness.

I give You any rebellion in me that resist doing your wgive you my desires to look good. I give you my pride anddependence that tell me I can do Your will in my own power ihard enough. I give You my fears that tell me Ill never be abdo Your will in some areas of life. I consent to let You eneme... to create within me, moment by moment, both the desirethe power to do Your will.

All that I am and all that I have I give to You, espetoday just the way it is. I give You my body and each members... my entire inner being: my mind, my emotional lifewill... my loved ones... my marriage or my hopes for marriage.abilities and gifts... my strengths and weaknesses... my health.status (high or low)... my possessions... my past, my presentmy future... when and how Ill go Home.

Im here to love You, to obey You, to glorify You. OBeloved may I be a joy to You Father!

Lord, help and Holy Spirit fill me. May I finish well!

My son John Lenschow would come into MCI duringsummers while he was attending college, sometimes we wteam preach. Our family always spent time in just sharing ourwith inmates before church service. One fellowship time as

many the inmates were slow in going into the Chapel foservice. A relatively new inmate came up to John to let him his father was beginning the service. My sons response was,I can hear my Dad preach any time. After the service, this incame over to me to tell of Johns disrespect. I shared that myand I had a very good relationship and I assured him that Johna good attitude. In addition, I told the inmate that I consshared (preached) what is in my heart with John and he is opinstruction. He still was not certain that I was raising my son rig

Ex-inmate John Anderson was an anthropologist. Whcollege, he took part in extra curricular activities, parties, marijusex, etc. This all led him into a life of crime spending a numbyears in prison. After serving his time, he lived with our familyshort while. He could not get over how our family related to other. He expected a holy, reverent and religious lifestyle.

have always been just the opposite. We joke, laugh and havwith each other. All and sundry is open season, being fair gWe dont mind a joke at anothers expense; especially Dads (think to highly of ones self). John could not believe our up-beabout nothing dialog.

Unfortunately, John Anderson could not become drug therefore again living on the street for a couple years. Later heable to get into a Salvation Army drug rehabilitation programstarted to get his life in order. The last time I talked to John, hea Salvation Army councilor and told me of attending a Rick JoConference at Charlotte, NC. One of the speakers was Mumford a popular international conference speaker. Johnvery impressed with his teaching on the Fathers Freedom.

One evening after the meeting, John went to a restaurant inhe Hotel he was staying and he noticed Bob Mumford and hisamily seated at a large table. He could not resist going over tontroduce himself and tell Bob how much he enjoyed his teaching. His wife Judith asked him to sit down (which he could not believe)with them for they were just ordering. He sat next to Bobs son-in-aw who was so complementary of Bob as a father-in-law. In

ddition, they were down to earth, amused themselves and enjoyedach other immensely. Their talk was just general conversation

with much laughter. John Anderson was so impressed with theeaching, teacher and family that it helped him in turning his liferound.

God wants to prepare us for the long haul. Sometime after Ieceived the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, I read a statistic in a

Christian magazine that scared the bejeebers out of me. A soalled on fire Christian lasts about five years before he/she burnsut in space going back to the old way of life.

    GRINCH PARTY POPPERS

Step 1:Collect your ingredients andassemble Grinches (Dependingon how many Grinch poppersyou would like to make, you willneed that many of thefollowing):

-slice of white string cheese (atleast 1/3 inch thick)-strawberry-banana slice (at least 1/3 inch thick)-green grape (with bottom sliced off so it lays flat)-melted chocolate

Assemble each Grinch by sliding each piece up a plastic toothpI get mine from the dollar store. They come in a package ofassorted colors with little hearts on the top. They are the perfecsize, and not too sharp for the kids to eat off of.

Step 2:Melt ChocolateDepending on how many poppers you are making, melt theappropriate amount of chocolate. I used a simple Hershey bar ithis recipe. 1/2 of a Hershey's bar, broken into pieces andmicrowaved until melted; stirring at 20 second intervals will beplenty to make up to 25 poppers.

Step 3:Pipe little Grinch faces: Place your melted chocolate into a pipinbag with a very small tip attachment; or do it the easy way by ua ziploc bag with a tiny snip off of one corner to pipe your facesMake 2 eyes with frowning eyebrows above them. Next, make wide smile with bumps and a little point at the bottom middle.

Step 4: Chill, serve, and enjoy!Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

    REINDEER GAMES CUPCAKES

    I absolutely love this idea.

    1. Bake cupcakes of yourchoosing. I took the easyway out on these andmade chocolate cupcakesfrom a box mix.

    2. Frost with chocolatefrosting.

    3. Top with pretzels for the antlers, a Nilla Wafer for the face, wM&Ms for the eyes (or any other type of white candy), black icinfor the eyeballs, and brown and red candies for the nose (I usepeanut butter M&Ms).
