Oakvale Farm Early Stage 1 Excursion All students in KW and K/1B have received a

permission note regarding an excursion to Oakvale

Farm at Salt Ash. The excursion will be on 21st

October, payment of $25 and a signed permission

note needs to be returned to the office by 14th

October to secure your child’s place on the bus.

Kindergarten Orientation Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Monday

26th October, 3rd,11th & 19th November from 9am

-11am. Invitations for children who have attended

bookworm have been posted. The Minions are so

excited you are coming to our school and don’t

forget to bring your hat and a bottle of water. If you

know of any child living in your area that is turning

5 before the 31st July 2016, please ask their parent

to contact the office.

ADFAS Stage 3 Excursion Our Stage 3 students had a wonderful day at Sydney

Opera House. We would like to thank the

Australian Decorative Fine Arts Society-Pokolbin

for fundraising throughout the year to give our

students this amazing experience. Students

watched a live play and then took part in an

interactive digital tour of the Opera House.

Merit Awards As the end of year Presentation Day is

approaching, we ask all students to ensure they

return all merit awards to Mrs Sweeny by 13th

November.

Staff Changes Please be aware there are some staffing changes

for Term 4. Miss Devine has taken up a position

with Star Struck although will continue working

with the CCGPS Choir on a Tuesday. Miss

Robinson will be the classroom teacher on 4D.

Mr Wyborn and Miss Hicks will both be the

teacher librarian during Term 4.

P&C News

Calendar Orders

All families have received an order form for our

yearly calendars. These make wonderful and

memorable gifts for family and friends. If you

wish to purchase calendars please have your

order and payment to the office by 23rd

October.

5c Challenge

Please remember the 5c challenge is happening

in all classes. The class who raises the most will

receive a free lunch at the end of Term 4. Good
