MAY 2019
CLASS – 8th
Dear Students,
Congratulations for achieving desirable exam
results, you came up with flying colours.
Excellence is not a skill – it is an attitude. I would
like to extend my warmest wishes to you all on
the beginning of the new academic year 2019 –
20. Let it be interesting and exciting for you and
let it bring new knowledge and discoveries, as
well as new challenges.
Education is all about stretching
oneself and trying to do your very best in a
limited time frame to impress examiners. When
the results are declared there is always that
moment of apprehension for students and their
teachers about whether the work put in during
the year, will bear the desired results. I wish to
congratulate all the RPSians who again make
us proud through their achievements. The
performance of the students in academic as well
as co- curricular activities has charged all of us
for the new beginning with enthusiasm.
“JOY OF GIVING”
“ THE BEST WAY TO MULTIPLY YOUR HAPPINESS IS TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS”
To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to share it with. Its not how much we give but how much
love we put into giving. Not only does sharing bring us joy, it teaches us the importance of taking care of
others. When we share things that we have to others, we showcase a sense of humanity and empathy to those
who are in need.
On the other side one can think, why should I give to other? No one gave it to me when I
needed. The answer lies in your sub- conscious mind where the thought is always there that in your life you
received so much from other people – parents, friends, classmates, teachers, relatives, strangers etc.
In student’s life, it is very necessary to learn sharing and caring. In family, sharing happens naturally because
the familial bond implicates a deep sense of connection. This strengthens the bond within the family. But in
school, friend circle and in social group sharing is equally important. When we share our lunch box, our
feeling, our stationary, even good words can make a difference to others and in turn we achieve a sense of
happiness, pride and accomplishment. There is a famous quote ‘The more you give of yourself, the more you
find yourself’.
Sharing is not all about money and other things. Generosity is only one of the aspects. It’s about kindness,
helpfulness, unselfishness, sacrifice, service etc. Even your few polite and good words at your classmates can
cause tremendous effect. So students next time when you have any goodness to you, don’t keep it to yourself,
share it. Because just like smiling, happiness can be transmissible.
*Treat your classmates with respect and care.
*Encourage other and be willing to share.
*Walk tall and proud when in line or about, use your quiet voices rather than shout.
