Kindergarten 2021 If you have a child starting Kindergarten in 2021 it is now time to lodge their application for enrolment. Please call the office on 02 9153 7256 to provide details of your Kindergarten 2021 child. Packs will be sent home with their sibling.

Opportunity Class (OC) Year 5 2021 Changes to the opportunity class placement process for 2020 Year 4 students The 2021 Year 5 opportunity class placement process was put on hold in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 situation. We now have a revised and simplified timeline for the OC placement process to ensure that students and families can have certainty about their placement as soon as possible. The changes include: A new date for online applications. Parents

must apply between 9 June 2020 and 26 June 2020. Late applications cannot be accepted.

A new test date - Wednesday 16 September 2020.

To ensure fair and consistent assessment of students across New South Wales, students will be offered places based only on their test results this year – there will be no school assessment scores. There will also be no opportunity for appeals given the tight timeframes. Parking School drop-off and pick-up is a very busy period in the streets surrounding the school. Please obey all school zone and parking regulations, particularly in the Kiss and Ride Zones. Wherever possible please ensure you park in a manner which will allow as many cars to park within our surrounding streets.

Welcome Back Everyone! What a crazy year this is turning out to be. Hope everyone is settling back into school and getting used to the new drop-offs and pick-ups. I’m sure all the kids and teachers are happy to be back.

We have a few exciting projects we are working on and further information will be available shortly. The P&C have been working hard during these times to make sure our vision still moves forward. Uniform Shop Winter Uniforms With schools in NSW returning to full-time face to face teaching sooner than predicted, our suppliers are experiencing huge demand for winter uniforms. As a result, we have up to 3-week delays on some items. We are delivering items that are in stock to classrooms as soon as we can and will deliver all outstanding/back-ordered items ASAP. Exchanges & Returns Any items for exchange or return can be sent to the school office. Please include a note with your MySchoolConnect order number, details of the size you need or items you would like refunded. www.myschoolconnect.com.au/pspsuniform Plastic Bags The Uniform Shop has run out of plastic bags! If you are placing an order, please provide a bag and ask your child to put it in the Uniform Shop box, in the yellow lost property cupboard which is located outside of the Uniform Shop. Secondhand items There is a small amount of second-hand items which will be available on Myschoolconnect from Friday 5th June. These clothes are of good, wearable quality, but may have minor faults or stains which cannot be removed. Some items have not been washed prior to donation to the Uniform Shop.
