According to JacksonvilleArtWalk.com, Art Walk is a place for local artists to display their work and gain recognition. Art Walk takes place at Hemming Park in downtown and guests can attend for free. The Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens is also located downtown. “The Cummer is the largest fine arts museum in Northeast Florida and the second largest art museum in Florida,” according to Jimenez. The Jacksonville Jazz Festival is the second largest in the U.S. and the Artists Series has been bringing Broadway and Off-Broadway productions to Northeast Florida for more than 49 years, according to the Visit Jacksonville website. The events continue with the summer concert series at The Landing, the Jacksonville Beach Summer Jazz series, Springing the Blues Festival, Country Superfest and more. The Jacksonville Symphony, listed in the Top 40, has a series of summer performances as well. This includes a performance at Metropolitan Park for the Symphonys Starry Nights concert, headlined in 2015 by The Beach Boys.
