WELCOME TO HILLSBORO

SLAVERY IN TENNESSEE?The United States Justice Department

reports that there are 27 million slaves in the world today—more than at any time in our past history. Human trafficking, or modern day slavery, is happening right in your own backyard and is the most horrific human rights violation of our time. A report from the Shapiro Research Group states that approximately 94 minors are trafficked in the state of TN each month. The average age of entry is 12-14. If you know the signs to look for, you could help release a victim from bondage.

End Slavery TennesseeSunday, October 20 | 4:45 pm

Hillsboro Fellowship Hall

In Luke 4:18 we read, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed." Christ's love compels us to reach out to those held in bondage.

End Slavery Tennessee, an anti-human trafficking organization serving survivors in Tennessee, will present an informative program on October 20 at 4:45 pm in the fellowship hall. Their staff and volunteers have trained thousands of professionals to identify and help victims, raising awareness to hundreds of community, faith-based, campus and service groups. Please join us and invite your friends.
