Jain Farms contributes Rs.2 lakhs for Tirupathi Tirumala Devasthanam Plantation
In continuation of our concern for environment we have contributed Rs.2 lakhs for the
purpose of plantation at Tirupathi Tirumala Devasthanam - Forest Department, under Sri
Venkateswara Vanabhivridhi Scheme, Tirupathi. And this amount has been utilized to raise
a small plantation with 50 Nos. seedlings near “SILA THORANAM”. TTD has taken many
social service initiatives in areas like education, medical treatment and rehabilitation of the
physically challenged and economically backward. It also provides aid to authors and
subsidized equipment to other temples.
About School Uniforms
Village Belethur has a Telugu medium Government school quite neglected with barely 35
students. The boys and girls coming to the school are from very poor families and cannot
even afford decent clothes. So Jain Farms and Resorts has taken the responsibility to give
these children uniforms so that at least to school they can come in decent cloths.
In all 35 pairs of uniforms have been given to both Boys and girls and they will be given
the next pair every 6 months so that they are presentable and can take pride in coming to
school to learn (who knows future Dr Radha Krishna ,ex president or Lal Bahdur Sastri ,ex
PM, can be one of these children) .

It has been said that birds can exist without man but that man will perish without birds.
Birds perform important ecosystem processes, particularly, pollination and seed dispersal.
Nectivorous birds that help in pollination help in increasing the yield of economically
important plants. Many plants are exclusively dependent on pollinating agents for seed
formation. Scavenging species of birds also play an important role in nature as they help
keep disease outbreaks under control. Birds are technologically and biologically advanced,
highly motivated, extremely efficient, and cost effective, insect-pest controllers. A large
proportion of the birds’ food consists of insects including many that are in the highest
degree injurious to man and his interests. Fruit eating birds help in the dispersal of seeds
which aids forest regeneration, avoids seed predation and assists in increasing the genetic
pool of plants. Seed dispersal by birds also helps in recolonization and restoration of
disturbed sites. Common birds are on the decline across the world, and India is no
exception, providing evidence of a rapid deterioration in the global environment that is
affecting all life on earth – including human life. Habitat destruction and modification
along with changing life style are some of the major reasons for the decline.

Subject: Improvement in Facilities at Jain Farms, Bagalur
Dear Mr. Jain,
Wishing you and all at M/s Jain Farms a belated Merry Christmas and a wonderful year
2011.
There was a time when I used to dread driving from the Club to my house (just before
Phase 2 gate) due to the stones protruding from the road.
Recently I stayed at my farmhouse there for a week. I wish to compliment M/s Jain Farms
on the newly levelled road that has been made from the Club to Phase 2. It is not only
extremely motorable, but I even used it as a jogging track!
Look forward to such wonderful developments that will make Jain Farms, Bagalur a
wonderful community to live in.
Warm regards,
Manoj Vaghjiani
