The 2020 Life Summit, presented by Churches for Life, is being held this year on Saturday March 28th

at West County Assembly of God. This is a day of life confirming workshops and fabulous speakers.

The Life Team will again offer FREE registration to the first 10 who are interested in attending.

What a joy and encouragement all of you at St. Paul’s have been as we moved our family to St. Louis in the fall of 2018! Thank you for opening your hearts to us, sharing in the hope of our common mission to serve the Metro Area and in your giving of friendship and financial support this past year! This would have been impossible without you and we look forward to what He will do in 2020 as we continue this journey with Him and each other! We are grateful as we look back on what the Lord has done in 2018. The ‘10 days of prayer’ united many hearts across the city, laying a spiritual foundation for the future. A strategic plan for 2020 envisions future metro prayer events in the Spring and Fall, addressing racial reconciliation, facilitating the formation of regional pastor networks, and taking first steps for a ‘boots on the ground’ interdenominational missional outreach in both the city and county. Your copy of the Strategic Plan 2020 is available at the welcome desk.

Financial Giving Update:

This fall we became an official not-for-profit 501(C)3!!! This means you can now make your donation directly to “Gateway Metro St. Louis”, instead of going through the church office first. Here’s how: Write your check to ‘Gateway Metro St. Louis’ and mail it to Gateway Metro St. Louis, 9801 Olive Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63141. You can also leave your gift in Marco’s mailbox at the church office. So please do not send your gifts to St. Paul anymore. A big thank you to St. Paul’s church and Cindy for all they have done in processing donations in the past!

Seeing Jesus in Genesis. This study is uniquely designed to help you to look in the wonder of the first book of the Old Testament – Genesis – and see how it prepares for and points us to Christ.

We are having a slow start with our 2020 work for the people in Tandala, Congo. The weather has gotten in our way a few times. Our work days are the 1st Tuesday of the month and the 3rd Friday. We start at 9 am and generally wrap it up by noon. Please come join us to see what we are doing. No need to feel compelled to make an obligation of coming every time we meet. It is such a joy to have new folks come and help with our efforts. We have a variety of much needed items which we can choose to work on and we all agree it is a blessing to offer our contributions to the people in Tandala. Tandala is a small rural community in the northern part of the Congo. They have a hospital where all our items are sent and then dispersed. Consider giving a few hours of your time to help the Congolese village people with items of need, items that they depend on from the contributing EFCA churches. We as a group of ‘Church Ladies’, we would love to have the extra help. Hope we can look forward to seeing you soon. Questions??? I would love to answer all your questions! Our Condolences Fran Luft passed away January 16, 2020 at the age of 82. She is survived by her husband Bill. Her funeral was held January 20 at St. Paul’s with burial in the St. Paul’s Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Mark Friz.
