Classroom Highlights
We had a exciting 3E science lesson on Static Electricity and Magnetism, thanks to our wonderful parents who volunteered their time to guide us through our first lesson of the year!
Next week we will:
■ continue our Unit 3: Animal Adaptations while focusing on identifying key
details and main idea in a passage, as well as reasons and evidence, using
inferences, analyzing texts while comparing and contrasting.
■ Celebrate Red Ribbon Week (Dress up days listed on backside) and Halloween.
■ complete our unit on Multiplication Facts: Use Patterns, with a test on Tuesday
(10/29).
■ We will learn all about the Ooti Tribe, native to Sacramento.
■ Start our math unit on Multiplication Facts: Use known facts, and continue
our multiplication fact timed quizzes.

■ November 2nd - Super Minimum Day
■ November 6th - Effie Yeaw Nature Center Field trip
