The next generation of Yamaha timpanifeatures upgrades to the frame, bowland wheel designs, and the tuning

gauge. Yamaha completely redesignedthe frame to enable maximum sustainfrom the suspended bowl and ensure along, reliable life. Simultaneously, we altered the bowl design to improve

consistency and generate a deep, richtone. Beyond the sound, Yamaha created a new wheel design and

improved pedal mechanics to allow vast position options and smooth

reliable pedal operation. In addition, the tuning gauge can now be moved

to accommodate German and American setup options.

• Benefits from a new machine developed exclusively for hammering timpani bowls to improve consistency and create a natural warmth and depth to the sound quality

• Includes a Pedal Adjustment Clutch (PAC) that features a simple handle to quickly and easily adjust the pedal feel

Features1. A newly designed frame design

ensures maximum resonance of the kettle while focusing on strength to support the timpani bowl.

2. The Yamaha special version of the REMO Renaissance head with aluminum insert ring is adopted in all models. All heads are made by REMO.

3. Redesigned casters, 25mm-width height adjustment, are now located under the pedal can be locked and unlocked with just one touch of a button.

4. Tuning indicators can now be moved to either side of the timpano for players who desire an American system or German system.

5. A larger silver pedal is now installed used on all series making it easier to locate.
