• Folksonomy results from a group of people cooperating to organize information by adding single words to describe something
• Not like Biology Species, genus, family, order, class, phylum, Kingdom
• Problems:– synonyms, ANT, ant– similar tags: dog, dogs, puppies– no hierarchy:
• Advantages:– wide coverage– Simple– Auto-Grouping
