Recent tests on Alloy 35Mo (27Cr, 35Ni, 6.5Mo, 0.28Ni), a new PRE>50 structurally stable superaustenitic tube, showed extreme pitting resistance and CPT>100⁰C in modified ASTM G150 using 3 M MgCl2 – considerably higher than for conventional 6Mo grades. Get the latest data on our corrosion tests (pitting, general, intergranular) as well as mechanical data on heat exchanger tube. See why Alloy 35Mo offers higher yield strength compared to duplex, and good resistance to general corrosion in hydrochloric acid.
