STUDENT SCHEDULE Registration and Residence Hall check-in is at 9:00–10:00 a.m. on day one. Orientation concludes on day two around 11:30 a.m.* Students will be staying overnight in the residence halls. The day-and-a-half Orientation program features: • Welcome Address from Dean College President, Paula M. Rooney, Ed.D. • Campus Resources Displays • Orientation Group Meetings • Residence Hall Time • Team Competition • Student & Family Dinner • Information Sessions - Honors Program - Arch Learning Community - Academic Coaching • Involvement at Dean • Late Night at Dean • Financial Services Appointments • Academic Experience and Course Selection WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO BRING Bedding - Sheets, blanket or sleeping bag - Pillow Clothing - Pajamas - Comfortable clothing (room temperature may vary so bring a sweater or jacket) - Sneakers and/or shoes Toiletries - Towel - Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. - Shower sandals Miscellaneous Items - Alarm clock - Fan (please note that the rooms are not air conditioned) - Pad/Pencil/Pen - Water bottle - Money for snacks and games at Boomer’s - Sunscreen - Dance students should bring regulation dance attire, shoes, etc. for their placement class.
