Dr Andrew PryceRedefi ning Tyre Management

Andrew has a Degree and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Surrey. He has held a number of management positions in manufacturing and industrial automation for the Morgan Crucible Company plc and Meta Vision Systems Ltd.

Andrew founded Sigmavision with a focus on the tyre industry, initially designing laser measurement systems for dimensional control of semi-fi nished tyre components. Sigmavision is now completely focused on the tyre aftermarket and Andrew is co-inventor of TreadReader™, the company’s patented 3D tyre measurement technology.

A keen advocate of tyre safety, Andrew is also an active member of the NTDA Aftermarket Suppliers Group and has given numerous presentations on tyre management at the NTDA’s regional meetings.
