Snapshot of Roadmap of Future Projects Based Upon Reserve Study

∗ Saguaro Canyon is an aging community, now 13+ years old ∗ EVERYTHING showing signs of wear/worn out

∗ Common area sidewalks, landscape rock/bark, pool house bathroom renos, water feature pump and reno, entry way trestle, etc.

∗ Contractor, labor, materials costs continue to rise∗ Administrative costs continue to rise ∗ Saguaro Canyon has never had a dues increase

∗ HOA dues do not cover the cost of normal admin plus maintenance∗ Dues increase is imminent 2021∗ Board is reviewing reserve study. Separate report will be

Budget Looking 2 – 5+ Years Forward

∗ N Red Horse Way: Median and sides removed Russian Sage brush growing over the edge of curbing and into the street, replaced annual red geraniums with perennial red carpet roses (cost saving/easier maintenance), planted two evergreen trees and one deciduous tree, removed dead plants, and added landscape rock

∗ Area east of pool: cleaned up the area, removed loose pavers, planted a tree, and added landscape rock and bark in the area

∗ Irrigation pump house: Cleaned up area, removed overgrown and dead bushes, planted a tree, planted a few bushes (flowering and otherwise), added a large sandstone rock, and added landscaping rock

∗ Cleaned up and added landscaping rock in the cul de sacs on E Ocelot Court and N Red Hills Place

∗ Community metal fence: Phase 2 completed this year2/19/20209

∗ 2020 Objectives∗ Focus will be to maintain aesthetic integrity∗ Phase 3 of the community metal fence project has been approved for

this year∗ Continue to upgrade/replace plants (possibly add more color with

drought resistant plants, add bark to areas that are bare, remove dead Yucca plant in pool area, etc.)

∗ Additional member/s for landscaping committee∗ Notify a landscape committee volunteer, myself, or Erik if you see

something that does not meet our general standards in common areas∗ Safety and compliance: Speed limit is 25 mph throughout the

subdivision, i.e., N Red Horse Way is a major thoroughfare for both vehicles and CHILDREN, cleaning up after pets in ALL common and private areas, dispose of and clean up debris in common areas, climbing on large landscape rocks throughout the subdivision is prohibited.

trespassing, & overall disruptive behavior. Due in part to the NEW security system and more involvement from our homeowner/attendees.

∗ New gate key system installed, requiring NEW keys for each property owner. Old gate keys were terminated in the system.

∗ Toddler pool opened, with favorable response from toddler parents and adults who use the adult pool

∗ 2020 Objectives:∗ Video DVR security system will be equipped with 3 more cameras.∗ The same companies that completed the major pool repairs in 2018

and the toddler pool in 2019, have been contracted to service the pool, decking, shower & bathrooms.

∗ The toddler pool will continue to provide a safe area for our youngest users and will eliminate some crowding of the main pool.

∗ Some lounges will be refurbished.∗ When pool season arrives, please familiarize yourself with the pool

rules so that we can all enjoy a fabulous season.
