M50 Connectors – 1.27mm pitch Male and Female Connectors
• Introduced as Standard product in 1997/1998
• Sales on this product range has steadily increased throughout this period
• More variations now available across the industry
Why more M50?
Additional M50s and New M52s
• To enhance the range of Fine Pitch products, additional connectors were specified for the 2005 Catalogue launch.
• The new products encompass 1.27mm pitch products, with a choice of 1.27mm or 2.54mm row spacing. SIL and DIL versions are available.
• There is now greater flexibility in connector heights and the choice of whether to have location pegs on SMT products.
• The M52 range increases the choice of Fine Pitch connectors, and gives Harwin more products meeting current industry standards.
• The addition of Pin Header Variant options for the M50 range give the ultimate flexibility in board-to-board connections. This has also been introduced for the M52 range.
Why more M50?
M50:
• 1.27mm pitch between rows and along connector.
• Male pin is 0.40mm square.
• Double row, Gold.
• Pin header variants now available.
• M50-3XX additions mate with current M50-3XX items – basic pin headers and sockets.
• M50-4X0 additions (shrouded single polarisation) do not mate with current M50-4X2 items (shrouded double polarisation).
