The oils and products included in this New Parent Essentials+ Kit are ones that new parents can use with confidence to help support the wellbeing of their little one(s) in everyday life. This kit contains all of the same oils as the New Parent Essentials Kit, as well as several more oils/products.

Our family trusts doTERRA brand oils for their commitment to quality when it comes to potency, purity, the plants they use and the people who grow them. Here are some ways that I use oils with my family:- Dabbing Lavender and Melaleuca oils on the soft spot behind the ear when someone has pain/discomfort in their ear. - Including a drop or two of Lavender in bath water for a calming and relaxing atmosphere. - Dabbing the DigestZen digestive blend on tummies when a someone is experiencing digestive discomfort after eating, when a little one has lots of gas, or when a little one is spitting up regularly. Also good for helping support healthy bowel patterns.- Rolling the Aromatouch massage blend on the spine of my little ones when they are feeling under the weather, especially if they

have an elevated temperature. The oils in the Aromatouch blend may help relax and ease muscle tension, provide an overall sense of calm feelings, and the blend includes peppermint essential oil, which provides a cooling sensation. - Dabbing a blend of the Serenity calming blend and the Balance grounding blend on the forehead, chest, or under the big toe of my little ones to help them experience feelings of calmness and groundedness, especially during their early days and before bedtime. - Our family regularly uses the OnGuard protective blend rolled along the spine or on the bottoms of the feet to help support our immune systems, especially when seasonal threats are high. On the littlest members of our family, I use Lavender and/or Melaleuca in the same manner. - Applying Breathe respiratory blend to help support feelings of clear airways. I use this oil, along with other essential oils, in a home-made chest rub that both helps promote feelings of clear airways, and which is also safe for even the youngest members of the family.- Dabbing Roman Chamomile along the jawline to help soothe little ones during times when they may be teething. - I love Helichrysum! This oils has anti-inflammatory properties, stops bleeding, reduces pain and swelling, and supports healthy tissue. When I am expecting, I prepare fractionated coconut oil with Helichrysum and Frankincense in it to use as a lubricant/perineal sup-port for the pushing stage of labor. Helichrysum is also my go-to oil for those bigger bumps and bruises that little ones are so good at getting!- Frankincense - another oil favorite! It has soothing properties used to rejuvenate skin and is known to support healthy cellular func-tion. When inhaled or diffused, Frankincense promotes feelings of peace, relaxation, satisfaction, and overall wellness. It is one of the few oils that can cross the blood brain barrier! I place it on the crown of my baby’s head shortly after birth, and use it for supporting healing skin.- Lemon is such a wonderful smelling oil, and it is great for helping to gently cleanse the body. I add a few drops to a bottle of water (do not use with plastic containers - glass only) and enjoy during the day. I consume up to, but not more than, 12 drops per day. A drop of lemon on the bottom of baby’s feet at each diaper change may also help break up bilirubin.- Melissa is one of the most expensive essential oils available, but also amazing. It has properties to help repair our DNA, and a baby’s DNA can be affected pre-birth by thoughts and emotions that mom experiences. I apply Melissa to the bottoms of my newborn’s feet daily. Melissa also has powerful antibacterial and antiviral properties - great for immune support!- Myrrh is great for helping to seal tissues and therefore protect body systems. I use Myrrh on the umbilical stump of my newborns., and on my nipples if I am having issues with cracking (If you have painful nipples due to breastfeeding, be sure baby is getting a proper latch and ask for help if you are unsure.)- 5 ml spray bottle for perineal and circumcision healing contains Frankincense and Lavender and can be refilled if needed.- Correct-X essential first aid ointment is a fabulous replacement for other first aid ointments, which often contain ingredients to which 1 in 10 people will develop contact dermatitis with prolonged use. It is petroleum and lanolin free, and contains essential oils such as Frankincense, Helichrysum, Melaleuca, Cedarwood, and Lavender, all of which I love.

There are many other uses for the wonderful oils as well. Feel free to ask me! I also highly recommend purchasing a copy of the book Essential Oils for Pregnancy, Birth & Babies by Stephanie Fritz
