    SPARK is proud to promote the ACADSA Hear/d Residency, a pilot project developed by the Alberta College of Art + Design’s Students’ Association. The residency has its own central theme of resilience relating to the journey of mental health issues currently experienced by many post-secondary students. Drawing on this theme, the Hear/d Residency program invites participants to explore concerns that are affecting post-secondary students in a creative and innovative way.

    Attend this event to learn more about IAC’s proposed ‘National accessArts Centre’, which would be North America’s first multidisciplinary arts hub for artists with disabilities.

    Following the panel, the hallway galleries of cSPACE and Studio C will be open for the public to explore, showcasing juried SPARK artwork from around the world. Light refreshments and a relaxed reception will be offered at Studio C.

    cSPACE Accessibility Transit: Calgary Transit’s number 6, 7 and 107 bus routes all stop conveniently nearby.

    Parking and Drop Off: There is a surface parking lot located off 29th Avenue as well as on-street parking. Two (2) accessible parking spaces are located on site. Access drop-off is at the north-facing entrance.

    Entrances and Elevators: You can enter through the Historic Grand Entrance on the south side of the building, through the Contemporary Main Entrance (wheelchair accessible) or the old ‘Boys Entrance’ on the building’s north side. Elevators are located on every floor midway down the hallway.
