at 1650 inch2, the massive engine/chassis mounted single radiator is the biggest ever in an argosy and it forms the heart of a new high-efficiency cooling system. Intense testing has shown it can easily handle the worst australia can throw at it and still have plenty in reserve for bull bars, insects and heatwaves.

This truck is designed to deliver durability. The electrical architecture has been redesigned to minimise the effects of wear and tear on circuitry and help keep you on the road even longer.

Asset–Hire Purchase

This type of finance product provides you with flexible options. Finance agreements of this type can be structured with or without a deposit. Payments can be tailored to suit individual needs by opting for a longer term or incorporating a final balloon payment. Upon completion of the finance agreement, and following final payment, you will then have ownership of the vehicle.

Asset Loan

asset loan (commonly referred to as a Chattel Mortgage), is available for individuals, sole traders, partnerships and companies where ownership of the vehicle at the start of the finance agreement is important. This finance product differs from an asset–Hire Purchase and Finance lease in that vehicle ownership is

Configured as a fully loaded B-double or road train, the argosy has cruised through dynamic testing in temperatures averaging 46˚, repeatedly driving up 7% gradients nearly 30 kilometers long.

it’s being subjected to endurance tests of more than 2.5 million kilometres of on-road testing and passed aggressive

cab shaker tests at Freightliner’s research and development facilities.

Full scale wind tunnel tests have also made the argosy very “slippery”. The 24˚ windscreen deflects air upward and through the argosy’s open visor, minimising turbulence and cutting running costs.
