New! FreeStyle LED Family Grows BURBANK, CA - Kino Flo’s FreeStyle family grows with the addition of FreeStyle LED Tubes, FreeStyle T44 Fixture and FreeStyle 4 Controller.

Adding to the FreeStyle 21, 31, 41 LED family is the introduction of the FreeStyle LED Tubes, T44 Fixture and FreeStyle 4 Controller. Each FreeStyle model has its own unique design for many applications, but all are compatible with each other and use the same extension cable and removable twist-on KinoGrip mounts available in standard 3/8” pin, 5/8” baby receiver and 5/8” baby receiver short lollipops.

The FreeStyle fixtures and FreeStyle LED Tubes display Kino Flo’s True Match® white light and RGBWW color managementsystem found in Kino Flo’s LED fixtures including the Diva-Lite LED, Celeb and Image LED studio softlights. Slim and compact in design, the FreeStyle 21, 31, 41 have removable LED panels and Gaffer Tray options while the lightweight FreeStyle Tubes can operate outside the T44 fixture projecting soft light at a 310° beam angle.

All FreeStyle LED controllers can run any of the FreeStyle fixtures or FreeStyle LED Tubes including FreeStyle T44, 21, 31 & 41 and can mount onto a stand with a ballast mount accessory (MTP-BAL) or operate remotely up to 50ft (2 x 25ft extension cables). In addition, the FreeStyle LED tubes can be rigged remotely in different locations using an adapter cable and single extensions (4 x X08-F125), both sold separately.

The FreeStyle LED controllers use the same Color Science LED technology and include four Menu options, one white, two color menus and FX (Effects). Features include: Kino Flo presets and custom settings from 2500K to 9900K, Green/Magenta control, Hue Angle and Saturation, RGB (red, green and blue) and FX (Effects) control features. They also come standard with DMX and wireless DMX (Lumen Radio®).

Kino Flo’s FreeStyle LED controllers are energy efficient and operate on universal input voltage 100-240VAC or 24VDC and draw only 1.25A (120VAC) and 6.25A (24VDC). The versatility and modular designs of the FreeStyle LED family make them great tools in the studio or on location.

Located in Burbank, CA, Kino Flo Lighting Systems was founded in 1987 and is a manufacturer of high quality LED soft lighting equipment for use in motion picture lighting, TV broadcast, video and photography industries. In 1995 Kino Flo received a technical achievement award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the development of color-correct lamps for film.

FreeStyle fixtures and Gaffer Trays all easily mount onto light stands with their center mounts. They are lightweight and can be handheld or can be screwed directly into a wall through screw points. The LED panels also have corner mounts for specialty rigging like hanging as an example.

The FreeStyle Tubes have an aluminum rail that can be used as an access point for mounting accessories that include baby mount, wall mount and hanging kit.
