Note:

In the Futura software, on the top tool bar go to Utilities > About. When

prompted to “include System Info” you can click No.

New Features:

Added a new User Right option under the Administrative tab to control editing existing payment types. This

will stop user from changing existing master payment types.

Added a warning prompt for users that have the right to edit Payment Types when changing a payment type that

it will affect all transactions that currently have that payment type attached.

Updated Features:

Made changes to the OPIE configuration for P&I so it can only be setup or edited by a user with Supervisory

rights and will only save a valid OPIE Facility ID number.

Fixes:

Fixed an unnecessary prompt about the insurance pay percentage being set to 0 when there is no insurance

attached. This was unnecessary when going into self-pay accounts.

Fixed an issue with Merge files failing for clients with P&I Accounts.

If Futura could not contact the P&I service when doing a merge file, the merge file would open with extract

codes in place of the expected information.

Fixed a bug in Inventory where if the delete button was clicked by mistake and "no" to delete was selected, it

would still delete when closing and reopening the product screen.

Updated Features:

Made the deleting of fee schedules easer by changing the process to be a one step process from the “Fee

Category” screen. Previously it was a two-step process and was time consuming.

Speed up the adding, updating and deleting of fee schedules. In some cases this was taking more the 30 minutes.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug where the “Qty” field on a service line would reset to 0 if an inventory item was removed that was

attached when the service line was originally created.

New Features:

Made the text “Futura Support:” at the bottom of the Futura main screen a hyper link to the “Support Portal.”

This will make it easier to connect with a support agent when needed.

Added a Web Links group to the Quick Clicks tool bar that has links to the Futura home web page, Futura help

page, Futura Release notes and ZirMed.com.

Added a new User Rights option to the user rights Global tab that turns on and off the right to use the right click

options “Hide Item from list” and “Unhide Item from list”.

Added a new quick click option “Retrieve Remittance Reports.”

New Features:

Sped up the loading of Tickle Messages when first signing in to Futura.

Added the “Srv To” date to service lines.

Added a “Patient Images” button to transactions to get to the patient images.

Updated Features:

Added a new column to the Notes grid that shows if a transaction is associated to the note.

Added the Vendors name to the notes that are auto created from PO’s.

Added new user right, “Disable Hide/Unhide” on the User Rights Global tab that turns on or off the right to use

the Right Click option to hide or unhide items.

Updated the internal WIP Work List to now save separate custom views for transactions and work orders.

Removed the following outdated and unused options from under Claim Processing, Online Claim status Inquiry,

Weekly Claim status Inquiry, Send Eligibility Requests and Get Eligibility Responses.

Removed the following outdated and unused option from the Location screen and the Insurance screen, Sync to

PDA.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug with the “Claim” tab on transactions that would allow a user to file a claim while the transaction

was still in a held status if the insurance on the transaction had the form types, P. Auth., Paper Elig., or

Elig.Req. attached.

Fixed an issue with the P&I service not working with older versions of IE.

Fixed an issue that was allowing users to open the same transaction multiple times when working from an

appointment.

Fixed a bug in the User Rights for HCPC codes where the system was not honoring the option “May add

HCPC” when option was unchecked.

Fixed an issue with Quality Outcome’s where user would get a “No base code” error when using the “Resend

Survey” button.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug in the updated “Purge to History” where if the user had their printer configuration set to pop the

printer selection screen it would cause the purge to stop until the user clicked OK.

Fixed a bug in the patient images that would cause a user to get hung in the system if they tried to attach a

transaction to an image and there were no transactions to choose from or the user tried to simply cancel the

operation.

Updated Features:

Updated the “Purge to History” utility to now release the system out of solo mode and allow other users to sign

back in as soon as the utility is completed instead of waiting until the user doing the purge clicks the OK on the

“Completed” notification screen.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug that was allowing users to close a Patient screen while the Patient images screen was still open.

Fixed a bug that was allowing users to open more than one Patient image screen at a time from appointments.

New Features:

Added a “generating word document” processing indicator when doing a “Merge Item to File” so users know

something is happening and don’t think the system is hung.

Updated Features:

Updated the relational transaction search windows from Patients, Insurance, Specialist and Physician to use the

SQL search window.

The relational window is accessed from the “Transaction” button on the top of each search window listed

above.

New Features:

The AR worklist and WIP worklist have been moved in to the Futura app under “Reports”. Rights to be able to

run these reports will need to be turned on for each user rights profile on the “Custom Reports” tab. (Admin >

Company > Users > User Rights)

Updated Features:

Updated the Quality Outcomes survey feature to check for and relink orphan surveys back to a transaction. An

orphaned survey can happen if there is a disruption in the response command during the time a survey is being

generated. Quality Outcomes may get the survey but the Futura software may not always get the response from

QO that it was received so Futura does not create the Quality Outcomes tab.

When generating a survey, the system will now check to see if a survey already exists on Quality Outcomes side

for that transaction and will prompt to link the two if it does.

Updated the verbiage “Signed By” to “Electronically signed by” on the patient and transaction notes when they

are printed out.

Updated the “Apply W/O + Ded’ feature when processing ERN’s. It now will prompt the user if the link to the

service line is missing and the W/O or Ded. can’t be applied.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug in the “Duplicate” feature for transactions that was causing the service lines to be created in reverse

order from the original in the duplicated one.

Fixed a speed issue with statements. For clients whose patient statements were up in the thousands, processing

them would take an hour or more.

Fixed the right click option “change post status” from the transaction search screen to show the custom post

statuses.

Fixed an issue with the Patient Image screen locking up if the zoom feature was used.

Fixed a bug on the Insurance Company master. Information added in the “Days to Reimburse” was not saving.

Fixed an issue with the Appointment status options. Not all statuses would show on the main appointment

screen when checked.

Updated Features:

Made changes to the ERN import process to use more data comparisons to find and link to transactions even if

the claims were submitted via paper.

Changed the ERN import screen to show the payer name the ERN is from. This should help the user choose the

correct insurance payer the ERN is to be processed for if they get a popup asking them to choose the payer.

Fixed a bug in the Appointments where when rescheduling an appointment to another day, if a transaction was

attached, it would not carry over to the rescheduled appointment.

Fixed a bug in the Appointments where when using the right click option to create a follow-up appointment to a

date and time that already has an appointment, it would pick up and show the transaction that was attached to

the preexisting appointment.

Updated Features:

Add a new field for “Referral Number” to the Incident tab on transactions.

Changed the Quality Outcomes feature so it will allow users to generate a survey for transaction that are in a

held status.

Added an additional warning for Work Orders marked as rental. If the user forgets to select a serial number for

the item being rented, the system will prompt them.

Changed the default action on the Auto Post process to "Do Nothing" per an over whelming request from

clients.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug in the Navigator that was causing it to crash and not display/open.

Fixed a bug in the theme “Black” that was causing images not to display correctly after being imported

Fixed an issue in images where PDF files were not resizing to fit the screen.

Fixed an issue with the “Change database” quick click icon where it was causing the system to freeze.

New “SQL Reports” under Reports have been turned on for all 6.6 users and new standard SQL reports have

been preloaded.

Updated Features:

Change made to the patient image screen that loads the images in a collapsed state to help load them faster and

the columns now auto size to best fit the Class and description of the image.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug in the MultiCode feature that was stopping the diagnosis pointers from pulling through.

Fixed an issue when sending DSHS secondary that would cause the primary info not to send correctly.

Fixed an issue in the “namesMatch” routine that would better help to Link ERNs to Transactions. This should

help with some ERNs that come back incorrectly from payers

Fixed linking Service Lines when we don’t get back a valid Service Line Index number.
