Foresite Group is working with ITT to design and permit 25 sites throughout the United States for the Federal Aviation Administration Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) system. ADS-B technology is a vital element for the United States modernized air transportation system. The greenfield sites include the installation of an air navigational aid tower, ground mounted equipment cabinet, emergency generator, and propane tank. Co-location sites include installation at existing towers, on rooftops and tenant improvements (indoor cabinets). Extensive coordination with airport management, permitting jurisdictions, utility providers and contractors is provided, in addition to efficient schedule management so that the targeted on-air deadlines are met.
