Basic Principles of ZPE Extraction
• The most important thing to keep in mind about designing ZPE systems is that ZPE is already present in your system in practically unlimited amounts

In many (if not most) ZPE systems, we are dealing with getting molecules, atoms, and
subatomic particles to break apart and rearrange themselves

We generally want to get them to re-form into highly energetic states
• Many times, these states are associated with specific crystalline geometries

Part of this re-arranging of energies at the subatomic level involves supercharging atoms

These conditions (vacuum, cold temp) make ZPE-based systems for space
propulsion especially attractive

Some ZPE system designers have found that keeping different parts of the system at different
temperatures creates beneficial effects
• Just as with magnetic forces in a ZPE system, “asymmetry” seems to be one of the main ingredients for success
