Core is a course for mid-intermediate level ESL students. With discussion time every week, students can express their ideas about a variety of topics

including many professional topics, beyond basic conversations without discomfort. In order to improve their speakingaccuracy and fluency, students record themselves speaking to notice differences in pronunciation and intonation

between themselves and native speakers and get professional feedback from their teacher.

* In order to have more effective skill improvement, we recommend taking 1:1 MCC(1:1 conversation) with the above course.


Through establishing a general English foundation, students will be trained to be able to have basic communication with native speakers. Through feedback and a weekly speaking test, along with an effective study method, students can improve their speaking, listening, reading, pronunciation and grammar skills and establish their English foundation.

Students learn high level English through lectures at native university English level. They learn to express their ideas not only via speaking but also writing freely by learning methods for reference writing, structurization, systematization of their thinking and writing various documents(reports, essays, cover letters, thesis, etc.). They can establish university level ability by learning thesis writing techniques and completingan English thesis within their own field of study.

Through learning test skills, students can successfully pass tests of colleges in Toronto. Completing three months, students can entercolleges connected with ELT: Lambton and Cambrian. We have plans in which students at any level can join ELT, and finish,ready to complete the entrance exams at: Seneca College, Centennial College, and George Brown College.Alternatively, by completing the Leadership Course, students can enter Lambton College or Cambrian College, with whom ELT hasPathway Programs.
