For the first time, Kérastase decodes the secret to optimal shine - balancing the equation between nourishment and reflection.

Ideally, when light illuminates your hair, a portion of that light will be reflected by the hair fibre surface in a symmetrical trajectory: like a mirror effect. Our eyes capture this reflection, and our brain translates the phenomenon as “shine.” But surface imperfections can disperse the light, causing it to be reflected in multiple directions. When this happens, it is known as diffuse reflection. Light loses its intensity and our eyes perceive a much weaker shine.

Nourished hair fibers have a smooth, unbroken surface. So, the more nourished your hair fibre, the greater its ability to reflect light. Now with the nourishing qualities of the Marula, ELIXIR ULTIME captures every luminous nuance. Your shine will be simply mesmerizing.

PRECIOUS CAMELLIA OIL

Each drop of precious Camellia Oil is composed of approximately 82%

Oleic acid (omega-9) and 12% Linoleic acid - two nutrients which are proven to have a natural affinity with the hair

fibre for increased elasticity and lasting natural shine.

SACRED MARULA OIL

Marula Oil is a natural “super oil,” known for its weightless nutrition and

anti-oxidant nutrition powers. The highest concentrations in essential

fatty acids, vitamin C and E, join the highest levels of antioxidants

(+60% more than classic oils) to deliver intense protection, without

added weight.

LE FONDANT

A creamy conditioner that delicately melts on hair to protect and intensely nourish the hair fibre.

This oil-infused conditioner smoothes the hair fibre to magnify shine. The five-oil blend found in Le Fondant instantly smoothes and softens hair whilst providing nourishment. Frizzy, dull hair is visibly disciplined and easier to manage. Ideal for fine to normal hair, it leaves hair soft, shiny and with a lightweight silky touch.

LE MASQUE

An intensely conditioning mask infused with sacred Marula oil, designed to treat dull hair in need of shine.

Ideal for dull hair seeking shine, this intense mask helps to treat and restore strands. Dull hair is nourished, leaving it feeling soft and looking visibly shinier. Combined with the Bain Elixir Ultime, it prevents dullness for a long -lasting radiance. This mask can be used occasionally as a deeper treatment for fine hair or as a regular treatment for normal to coarse hair.

A gentle oil-infused cleansing shampoo for dull hair seeking intense shine.

Infused with Marula Oil, Le Bain is a shine-enhancing shampoo ideal for dull or lack-lustre hair. This airy yet rich, lathering shampoo purifies and removes residue and pollution particles to eliminate dulling elements and revive the appearance of the hair.
