The BRC was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) as a complete riding program for the beginner rider. Taught solely by
the MSF certified instructors, the course consists of seven hours of classroom instruction and ten hours of hands-on riding instruction. The 2½ day,
17 hour course provides the beginning motorcyclist with the basic mental and physical skills necessary to minimize risk on the street. Topics include
straight-line riding, shifting, braking, turning, and swerving techniques as well as motorcycle dynamics. The BRC has been approved by the New
York State Department of Motor Vehicles as an option to the motorcycle road test. Students 16 years of age and older who possess both a valid
New York State Driver’s License and a Motorcycle Learner’s Permit who have successfully completed the BRC, will receive their motorcycle
endorsement without having to take the New York State on-street motorcycle road test.
TRAMA’S AUTO SCHOOL INC. provides motorcycles helmets, and course materials. Students must provide their own riding gear: over-the
ankle footwear (No sneakers), jacket, long pants and full-fingered gloves. Student may supply their own helmet and eye protection as long as they
meet D.O.T. standards. The BRC is both mentally and physically demanding. (Please disclose any medical condition you may have that could interfere with your
ability to ride/push a motorcycle. Some prescription and nonprescription medications may cause drowsiness and/or affect your balance. If you
are taking any medications please check with your doctor or pharmacist to confirm that there will be no conflict).
Please be sure that your calendar is clear, you are well rested, and free from distractions during your course. The ability to ride a bicycle is
an MSF requirement for admission into the BRC. There are both classroom and riding sessions each day of the course; perfect attendance and
proper riding gear are mandatory.
Failure to attend any training sessions (classroom or riding) or to have proper riding gear as outlined above will result in dismissal from
the course and the cancellation policy will apply.
PAYMENTA $100.00 deposit is required with this signed application. The balance of $250.00 must be received no later than two
weeks prior to your scheduled course date. Sending in your balance late or non-payment will result in the removal of your name from the class
roster. (Keep in mind, we DO NOT accept credit OR debit cards.)
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICYI understand and acknowledge that, breach of this contract will result in a lost opportunity for TRAMA’S MOTORCYCLE SCHOOL INC., and the
liquidated damages for such breach shall be all or part of the course fee, depending on when notice of cancellations is given as outlined here in.
I understand and agree that, I must give TRAMA’S MOTORCYCLE SCHOOL INC., a MINIMUM of one week’s notice (7 days) cancellation or
rescheduling notice in order to receive a refund of monies paid, less $10.00 processing fee.
I understand and agree that, if I cancel or reschedule with LESS than one week’s notice (7 days) prior to my scheduled course, I WILL forfei
$100.00.
I understand and agree that, if I FAIL to attend any of my course sessions once the course begins, I WILL be cancelled out and WILL forfeit the
entire course fee. NO refunds or make-up classes will be given if I FAIL to meet the attendance requirements. It is understood and agreed that I
must attend ALL sessions of the course with NO EXCEPTIONS.
I understand and agree that, I MUST allow additional time in my personal schedule for inclement weather conditions which may preclude
motorcycle riding and extended learning time.

long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants and full fingered gloves; I WILL NOT be permitted to participate in the course and WILL be subject to
forfeiture of ALL course fees.
I understand and agree that, there is a possibility that I MAY BE cancelled out of the class because I may not be able to achieve the objectives of
the range exercises within the allotted time or I FAIL to abide by the course safety and instructional guidelines as set forth the by the instructors. If
this should occur, I WILL then forfeit the entire course fee.
I understand and agree that, this course MUST be taken over two and a half (2 and ½) CONSECUTIVE days.

I __________________________________________________, (PLEASE PRINT NAME ON LINE) here by represent and warrant that my New York
State Driver’s License has not been suspended or revoked due to one or more CONVICTIONS for driving while impaired (DWI / DUI). Understanding
that, that ANY potential student who possess a license that has been RESTRICTED due to one or more CONVICTIONS for driving while impaired
(DWI / DUI), WILL NOT be able to participate in ANY NYSMSP RiderCourse until ALL restriction to the license have been lifted.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSI understand that riding a motorcycle requires alertness, coordination, balance, grip and fine muscle control of the
hands and feet. Certain medical conditions, recent surgery or injury and/or certain prescription or over-the-counter drugs may interfere with safe
motorcycle operation. If you have a history of dizzy spells, fainting, seizures, epilepsy, muscular, balance/inner ear or other physical or stress
related problems, are recovering from recent injury or surgery and/or are taking prescription or over-the-counter medications, it is imperative that
you consult with your doctor or pharmacist before the course to determine if your medical condition, or the drugs that you are taking for it, could
interfere with your ability to operate a motorcycle.
