Super hybrid airships are designed to
solve the problem of delivering any
industrial cargo to any point of land at
any time. And they can do that.
New airships create the new segment
of the air transport market.
Up to now, this problem has not been
solved by any other transport system –
whether it is an airplane or helicopter or
airship of different designs.
The proposed airships unite in one design all the
functional and technical advantages of both
classical and hybrid airships. At the same time
they are spared from their problems. Therefore,
they are called "superhybrid" airships.
For super hybrid airships the following names are used:
“AeroTruck” – cargo airships.
“AeroBoat” – airships for special service: medical, police, fire.
“AeroYacht” – airships for private use.
This result is achieved by providing full wind resistance for
the airship and complete, reliable and accurate
controllability in gusty wind conditions (up to the storm).
The main new element that provides wind resistance and
the necessary controllability in this case is the new multi-
vector propulsion unit of an airship.

Cargo super hybrid (SH) airships have
indisputable competitive advantages over
heavy transport helicopters. General-
purpose SH airships have very great
advantages over general-purpose
helicopters.
Cargo air-planes does not compete with
cargo AeroTrucks because they operate in
two different market segments.
The SH airships has indisputable competitive
advantages with all another types of airship
because they accumulate all their advantages
and do not have their problems.
In vast areas of land, where there are no roads or
the road network is minimal, AT can ensure the
delivery of any industrial goods to any
geographic point of the land without the use of
roads at any time and any season and weather.
Airplanes can’t compete with AeroTrucks:
• Heavy transport aircrafts do not compete with AeroTrucks, as they deliver
heavy industrial (and any other) cargoes only from a serious aerodromes
to another serious aerodromes. And that's all.
• Airplanes have significant limitations for oversized cargo.
• From the airport the cargo must deliver an AeroTruck. Delivery to the
aerodrome, loading, unloading and delivery from the aerodrome are
major problems.
• Not suitable for airplanes cargo will deliver only by AeroTrucks from plant
sites to construction sites directly.
Two systems perfectly complement each other and do not compete.

Super hybrid airships have a complex of functionalities
that ensures significant economic success in the new
substantial segment of the transport market.
Classic airships cannot develop into
a large market segment. Last decades
proved this. Their segment is giving
children a ride at fairs
Hybrid airships with a bearing body
cannot compete, because they require
a runway and are highly weather
dependent.
Hybrid airships with helicopter rotors cannot compete, as they have a
limited range, are not all-weather and not safe enough. They combine in
their design all the same shortcomings and problems that have heavy
transport helicopters and classic airships. This circumstance will not allow
them to enter the market even in the absence of competitors. And
AeroTrucks are doing everything that these airships can, only much
better.

What super hybrid
airship can do• Efficiently and safely fly long distances
with a heavy load like a classic one.
• Carry loads on an external suspension
and operate as a flying crane.
• Deliver cargoes that are several times
greater than their load capacity by
working in pairs or quadruples.
• Lift up and drop cargo (with its own
onboard crane) into the hold.
• Fly with use of vertical propulsor force like
“hybrid with helicopter rotors” airships.
• Hover in the air infinitely like a classic one.
• Fly with use aerodynamic forces of the

The Mi-26T cargo helicopter is the most powerful on the
planet. The graph shows its possibilities for the delivery of
goods without refueling at the point of unloading. And this
is the limit for helicopters.

Single cargo AeroTruck AT-120-50 (50 t, an unload ballast)
or AT120-25 (25 t, a controllable ballast) significantly
exceed any helicopter in their transport capabilities.

AT-120 (if necessary) can easily increase the range of non-
stop delivery using in-flight refuelling (using another AT-
120) or refuelling from the ground or with use of
additional AT-120 as a tow.2 AeroTrucksAT-120/50
AT-120s provide delivery of cargo twice heavy as the
nominal carrying capacity when working in pairs.

times heavier than AT-120 nominal carrying
capacity when working with two pairs.

The unmanned segment (AeroDroids) becomes
significant when tens of thousands of super
hybrid UAVs enter the market.
The military market segment doubles the total
volume of the entire market. This aspect is not
discussed here.
New small passenger super hybrid AeroBoats and
AeroYachts in comparison with utility helicopters are:
• much safer
• much comfortable all cabins
• more economical
• more long distance and unlimited hover time
• no rotors and much less noisy
• no vertical air jet in take off and landing
• full wind-resistance and all-weather operating
• parking in the backyard
• they lose helicopter only at maximum fly speed.
Therefore, it is possible to assume
that half of the helicopter market
segment will go to AeroBoats and
AeroYachts.
