• Expanded the number of weekly and daily trips on four Gold Country Stage Routes
• Expanded the use of Tele-Works Voice Response system to CDA for Haz Mat first responder notification and for automated building inspection scheduling for contractors

• Simplified the Sign Ordinance for applicants
• Completed the Wildlife Care Facilities Ordinance allowing zoning for such facilities and operation with a proper permit

• Implemented the Business Assistance Loan Program
• Resumed operation of the Grass Valley Veterans Building with the intent of developing it into a thriving community asset
• Completed 275 Employee Recruitments
Community CollaborationCommunity Collaboration• Worked with Nevada City Council and
Tahoe-Truckee Park and Rec District to limit the sale of tobacco products to minors and to reduce second hand smoke exposure
• Collaborated with Superintendent of Schools, Nevada County Community Leadership Institute, and Teen Advocates to launch Nevada County’s teen website (Ncteen.com)

• Worked with Sierra College, Contractors Association and Golden Sierra to provide a two week Construction Boot Camp to train entry-level construction workers
• Reduced County euthanasia rates to 2.4% through close collaboration with community animal welfare groups

• Collaborated with local Law Enforcement and Fire Agencies to purchase an Emergency Command Vehicle for use as an on-site communications center
• Coordinated Operation Clean Sweep with local Law Enforcement Agencies, the Court and Union Newspaper to aggressively pursue and reduce outstanding warrants
