Aim: to put the NCP on an extensive base and embed it within the scientific community concerned with migration and asylum issues in Austria;it holds meetings once a year (late autumn/winter) and serves as scientific guidance to the NCP Austria;during these meetings the work progress is being presented as well as the next year’s work programme and planned studies; members of the steering committee are in many cases the first contact persons for interviews.
