The Fall Season is off to a grand start this year in both of our associations! Morehouse Association just completed the second Annual Progressive Revival with five churches (New Hope, New Friendship,

Twin Oaks, Oak Hill, and Horseshoe) participating. The pas-tors exchanged preaching responsibilities for the revival. The combined love offering was presented to Pam Walker, the director of Care & Hope Ministries, for the Bastrop Thrift Store ministry. Each night featured old-fashioned revival preaching, exciting music, and a fellowship meal. The re-sponse each night was encouraging and the Lord is preparing hearts for a bountiful harvest. Northeast Association hosted its twelfth annual Senior Adult Progressive Revival at Parkview, Monroe, New Chapel Hill, West Monroe, and Lakeshore, Monroe. Joe McKeever of Jackson, Mississippi was the guest speaker and the Foto Sisters from Clinton, Louisiana provided the music. Each attendee was able to have Bro. Joe draw their personal caricature (see mine above). All were blessed by a series of powerful messages on prayer and delighted by the music of the Foto sisters. Woods Watson and the planning team delivered what many commented was the “best week ever.” The host churches provided exceptional meals and displayed splendid hospitality skills. Many thanks to all who make these events possible. The positive response to these endeavors leads us right into the annual associational meetings. Please see the details of these celebrations on the front page of The Connection. God is truly showering His grace on our associations, and I anticipate even greater blessings in the days ahead. It is a pleasure to serve as your associational missionary. To God be the Glory!
