HIGHLIGHTS• “Feels like air” was one of the first comments

we received on the suit. The Elite is that light and that soft. Yes.

• Zirconium Carbide yarns are used for the first time in a wetsuit. Zirconium Carbide yarns absorb heat radiated from the body and slowly release it over time.

• Eco-friendly Bioflex, made of bamboo and charcoal comprise of 50% of the Elite II’s inner jersey. Bioflex is not only made of natural materials, it is inherently anti-bacterial and anti-odor.

• S5 construction - The entire suit is constructed with the finest Japanese neoprene made of limestone. The S5 has a hydrophobic Titanium Alloy coating which is 95% water impermeable therefore it sheds off more water and quicker. It also has a 23% higher closed cell ratio that keeps you warmer by providing the maximum wind chill protection.

• Double closure systems ensure no water gets in – the E4 entry system is a pullover bib with a roll-neck seal in S5 material, ensuring a dry seal and a perfect customized fit. SCS double cuffs on the wrist and ankles ensure no ride-up and 2-times the protection against water entry.

• 100% P-Skin taped – Pryde’s proprietary seam sealant made of polyurethane. Stretchier and thinner than any other seam sealant on the market.

The 5000 Series is the high end wetsuit for hardcore windsurfers. This is for riders that demand the top gear for high performance riding.

Target: Hardcore, serious windsurfers.

Designed to be a racer’s second skin. This wetsuit is cut for a professional athletes body and is built for competition. When you’re racing, you need flexibility foremost and just enough neoprene on you to keep warm for the duration of the race. If you expect your equipment to perform like you do, then the 5000 Series Race wetsuits are for you.

New to the 2010 Combat Hybrid wetsuit are next generation graphics and a brighter color palette. The Combat is named after our most aggressive windsurf wave sail because it targets the same customer. It is built tough for those days when you plan on doing some serious looping and wave slashing. The upper body is made of wind-proof Mesh, while the lower body is made our most durable materials, Dura Flex and Amortex.

Target: Freestyle and wave sailors

HIGHLIGHTS• Mesh upper body + Flex lower

body – Because double-lined material (ie. Flex) is more durable, it is appropriate for freestyle and wave sailors.The tear strength of Flex is 35% higher than Mesh, while the stretch factor is 38% higher.

The 3000 Series pares down our performance wetsuits to the core: offering only what’s most important. The new 2010 wetsuits offer the same fit and technology as the previous year, but the graphics have been upgraded to reflect a more aggressive, sporty style.

as the arms, shoulder, chest and lumbar. This gives the wetsuit flex and comfort. Dura Mesh is used on the legs.

APEX-MESHThe top-performance, closed-cell H-Foam. Soft and highly flexible with an embossed micro-texture for added durability.

DURA-MESHSealed or “closed-cell” outer rubber surface with a standard nylon stretch lining. Water runs off mesh faster than standard neoprene - cutting down wind-chill.

APEX-FLEXTop-of-the-line double-laminated material. Super stretch and lightweight with an abrasion resistant, outer and a four-way stretch inner.

DURA-FLEXDurable “double-lined” neoprene, with a resilient, water-repellant nylon outer fabric, a stretch inner lining and a soft handfeel.

H-FOAMSuper-flexible, lightweight and durable with superb insulation properties. H-foam is the standard neoprene used on all Pryde & NPX wetsuits.

ZIRCONIUM

Zirconium is made from hollow yarns which have zirconium carbide particles added to the core. It has the ability to absorb and convert sunlight into heat in addition to reflecting heat. It is one of the fastest drying,lightweight insulators today.

HEATLOCK

An ultra-l ightweight inner l ining comprised of a series of tubular, hollow yarns. The Heatlock effectively traps and stores body heat within the cavity of the yarn, keeping you warmer and drier. An insulating, hollow fiber lining that effectively traps and reflects body heat.

HOTCELL

Lightweight, quick drying polypropylene insulation. The cellular structure traps an insulating layer of warm water next to the skin, keeping the core temperature up.

Limestone based neoprene from Yamamoto Corporation, Japan. The smooth closed cell neoprene has a unique coating that makes it 95% water impermeable compare to 70% of the normal petroleum based neoprene, therefore it sheds off more water and quicker. Also compared to the standard petroleum based neoprene, S5 has a 23% higher closed cell ratio that keeps you warmer by providing the maximum wind chill protection.

BAMBOO CHARCOAL

Bamboo Charcoal is known for its inherent antimicrobial and anti-odor properties. This natural fiber is weaved into our lining to provide hygiene benefits.

E1 ENTRY

The E1 Entry system features a medium length zip with a watertight panel located behind. This panel acts as a barrier to water entry through the zip, giving extra thermal protection.

AQUABLOCK

A water repellant treatment from DuPont. Used on outer nylon jerseys to shed water.

The standard TPU knee enhanced with Armortex.

A water venting system in the ankles – releases water caught in the suit.

High stretch Forward and Lateral Extension panels allow natural, unrestricted movement.

P-SKINPryde’s proprietary seam sealant made of polyurethane. Stretchier and thinner than any other seam sealant on the market.

GLUED AND BLINDSTITCHED (GBL) SEAMSAn efficient, water-tight seam created through a triple gluing process in conjunction with a blind stitch that does not fully penetrate the rubber. The technique allows precise curved seams and facilitates a snug, anatomically correct fit.

FLATLOCK SEAMSA strong durable self-locking stitch that is comfortable against the skin. The flatlock seam is water permeable implying the technique is generally used in warm water suits.

REINFORCED CROTCH

A durable layer of latex reinforcement that resists harness wear.

SCS WRIST SEALS

Form a waterproof seal and prevent sleeves from riding up.

ADJUSTABLE ANKLE AND ARM CLOSURES
