NEGLECTED SUFFERING

Feeble sounds surrounded me

when I was walking in the dark

and no one else appeared to hear

the tones I captured with my heart

They all just listened with the ears,

not fit to sense the sobs of souls,

abused and forced to disappear,

completely silenced by their foes

So I wonder who could help me

and ease the pain of those I heard

though they screamed inaudibly,

by exposing how theyre hurt
