Teaching families how to carefully transport their
children is the heart of the Safe Kids clasp up
program.
Using car seats, booster seats and seat belts the
correct way on each and every ride saves lives.
At these actions, child passenger safety
technicians must teach families how to transport
children properly.

dealerships, hospitals, community centers and
shopping centers all around the country.

Motor vehicle transport crashes are the foremost
cause of death along with children ages 3 to 14.
Appropriately used child safety seats are really effective
and decrease the risk of death as much as 71%.
Nearly 73% of child restraints are not installed or used
properly.
Almost half of kids 14 and below who died in crashes
were totally unrestrained.
