    I was full of self-doubt, which quickly went away once I attended my first few classes. From the beginning, the instructors made it clear school was an interactive experience.   • NDNUs professional business programs mirror the fast pace and global reach of todays corporate environment. Business faculty from diverse backgrounds encourage students to explore innovations in business, public administration, and technology. Some classes blend online with in-class learning, and two programs are now offered fully online.

    MBA students gain professional critical decision-making, global business management, and leadership skills essential for success in business.

    MPA students gain a unique blend of business, management and human resource skills to work effectively in management positions within public, non-profit and services related organizations.

    The MSM program focuses on developing skills for managing global teams, projects, programs, and sustainable systems.

    Sciences Psychology Programs

    Featuring an effective combination of theory and practice, these programs prepare students for careers in clinical practice, doctoral study, and professional roles in human services agencies.

    Master of Science degrees are offered through the Clinical Psychology program. Master of Arts are granted through the Art Therapy program. Students may choose programs that lead to Marriage and Family Therapy licensure through either department. Effective Fall 2012, Clinical Psychology will offer a combined MFT/LPCC degree (Marriage and Family Therapy/Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) that may lead to dual licensure. Both programs are approved by the Board of Behavioral Science as meeting the requirements for the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

    NDNU plans to offer a Doctor of Philosophy in Art Therapy, the only one currently offered in the United States. NDNUs Masters programs in the Art Therapy Psychology Department are nationally

    recognized for their excellence and are approved by the American Art Therapy Association.

    Computer and Information Science Online

    A Master of Science in CIS is now offered through NDNU online. Take a comprehensive, real-world approach toward the software-creation process and gain valuable practical experience. The online MS offers an innovative, cutting-edge curriculum that provides you with the theoretical knowledge as well as technical, managerial, and hands-on skills you need to successfully develop and lead major software projects from conception to launch.

    English Program

    NDNUs graduate program in English takes advantage of the San Francisco Bay Areas international reputation as a home to some of the worlds best-loved authors and poets creative writers drawn to a thriving literary community. Writers may choose to focus on a genre or develop a masters thesis derived from independent study.

    Graduates of the English Program become professional writers and teachers, or they use their well-honed skills in publishing, business, and consulting careers.

    The annual Creative Writers Series is sponsored by the NDNU English Department and enables students to interact with noted and diverse authors and scholars.

    Music and Vocal Arts

    NDNUs Music and Vocal Arts, and Music Theatre Conservatory programs provide students with exceptional opportunities for development of the skills necessary for the complete performer on the opera, musical theatre, and concert stage. Students will find an exceptional faculty of dedicated professional performers, directors and educators with extensive resumes of work across the country and around the world. Exceptional master teachers visit throughout the year.

    Students choose an area of emphasis within the degree: vocal or

    instrumental performance, musical theatre, collaborative piano/

    accompanying, or pedagogy. Our graduates are singing and dancing

    on Broadway national tours, both onstage and as musical directors,

    singing with international opera festivals, acting on national television,

    and teaching in top schools in the Bay Area and around the country.
