new companies started, offering products and services.
• However many successful e-commerce companies were started offline many years before the internet even existed.

e-commerce will be effected by change.• We have looked at some changes
previously: channel conflicts, changes in staff, efficiencies etc
• To understand changes a process called impact analysis can be used, it is used widely in business for a variety of areas (not just e-commerce)
