we will be meeting at the Mobil Station

in Carle Place at 7am with a departure time of 7:30am. From there we’ll cross the George Washington Bridge heading to the Palisades Parkway aiming towards the Palisade & Sterling Forests of Rockland and Orange Counties on some scenic lakeside twisties.

We’ll make our way to roll through the Counties of Sullivan and Ulster to start getting a taste of the beautiful roads the region has to offer encountering two reservoirs along the way. We’ll have planned stops for lunch as well as plan a visit to O’Tooles and Woodstock Harley-Davidson.

Once checked into our hotel, we’ll have a short break before heading out for the evening. Dinner will be in historic downtown Kingston (the first capitol of NYS) along the Roundout Creek at the Mariners Harbor Restaurant for some fine dining. After dinner we’ll walk up to the pier to enjoy a 2 ½ Hudson River Cruise with a DJ Dance Party for the evening while taking in the river view sunset plus sites of the river lighthouses, mansions built in centuries past and more.

That will pretty much wrap up our first day of riding and events. Estimated mileage for travel and around town is 230 miles.

we’ll be getting an early start for a full

day of scenic riding. After breakfast & fuelling up we’ll begin with few backroad twisties to Woodstock where some time has been allotted to stroll through the village and checkout to local shops & boutiques – good chance we’ll stumble upon a hippie or two that are leftovers from the 1969 festival (just don’t let them know the concert was never there).

From Woodstock we’ll continue through the heart of the Catskills in Ulster County on a combination of backroads and state routes that will take us along scenic Rt 28 up to Bellarye Mt Ski Area. From there our route will be roads that are definitely less traveled. We’ll have plenty of planned stops to rest, fuel and take in the sights along the way.

Our route will lead us into Delaware & Greene Counties on roadways considered to be some of the best riding in the region with amazing vistas to enjoy.

Wrapping up our riding will have us back at our hotel with enough time to rest up for the evenings activities. Saturday night’s dinner will be at Frank Guido’s Little Italy, a local restaurant known for their family dining and fantastic Italian cuisine. We’ll top the night off with a short run to the Frozen Rainbow in Port Ewen to treat ourselves to some ice cream. The evening will finalize back at our hotel where members have the opportunity to use the amenities available or just pack it in to rest up for the ride home.

Estimated mileage for the day is 200 miles

be departure day to head back home to Long Island. Members that may need to head back early can easily hop on to the NYS Thruway for a straight shot home.
