NC-PartLocator is the final step in the perfect partsystem. Automating part setup is the most significantstep to improve quality.

The part is probed to discover its location. The 5-axis alignmentrequired for the cutting program is calculated. Any adjustment is automatically transferred to the controller. The whole processtakes only a few minutes.

With 3-axis machine tools partsetup was achievable withconventional macro based systems. However, 5-axismachines bring new challenges. As parts become increasingly complex, so does their setup.

Traditional systems have no answer to these problems.
