CHANGE IN FORMAT

• Current USCG Light Lists show the Position (column 3) in degrees-minutes-seconds (to 3 decimal places) for much greater precision

• The Light List Reprints use the old Position (column 3) format of degrees-minutes (to 1 decimal place) where positional error could be up to approximately 300+ feet

• Chesapeake Light• Reprint LL shows LL No. 355 (Column 1): LAT 36º 54.3´ N LONG 75º 42.8´ W• Current LL shows LL No. 360 (Column 1):

Note that the Light List Number has changed even though it is the same Aid to Navigation
