Coconut Shell Charcoal and Value Added
Products
Shell Charcoal is an important product obtained from coconut shell. We supply the
best and Natural Coconut Shell based Charcoal in India. We are one of the
distinguished Coconut Shell based Charcoal suppliers in India. The Coconut Shell
based Charcoal is a derivative of the Coconut shell after it has been burnt under
regulated conditions. Coconut Charcoal is economical and eco-friendly and is used as
a fuel in various industries. It plays a major role as an essential raw material in the
production of Coconut Shell based Activated Carbon. Shell Charcoal is used to
produce activated carbon. Activated Carbon produced from coconut shell has certain
specific advantages as the raw material can adsorb certain molecular species.
Advanced techniques are applied to deliver only the best quality Products. Coconut
Charcoal briquettes also fall in our scope of supply and we assure you of premium
Coconut Charcoal briquettes, without the premium price tag.

Coconut Shell Activated Carbon and Value
Added Products
Activated carbon manufactured from coconut shell is considered superior to those obtained from other sources mainly because of small macropores structure which renders it more effective for the adsorption of gas/vapour and for the removal of colour and odour of compounds. The activated carbon is extensively used in the refining and bleaching of vegetable oils and chemical solutions, water purification, recovery of solvents and other vapours, recovery of gold, in gas masks for protection against toxic gases, in filters for providing adequate protection against war gases/nuclear fall outs, etc.

CSG grade for Gold Recovery: The use of chars in gold recovery began in the late 1800s and the CIP / CIL process for gold
recovery has now been in use for more than a decade. Based on serious experiments,
expects found that coconut shell based activated carbons would stand up better in a pulp
circuit than other base material carbons. CSG grade of granular activated carbon are
premium coconut shell based carbons that are among the best available and have been
specially pre-treated to reduce platelet content and initial wear of the carbon, which gives you
more carbon for your money.

Catalytic Carbon: Catalytic carbon can remove chloramine from water more efficiently than conventional
activated carbon because catalytic carbons have considerably faster reaction kinetics for
conversion of chloramines and hydrogen sulphide from water.
The increased activity of catalytic carbons makes it possible to use shorter contact times or
smaller equipment. Thus, for existing systems where conventional carbon has problems
removing chloramine, catalytic carbons will show marked improvement and cost savings.
This concept is particularly important in POU applications where contact times are on the
order of 10 to 30 seconds. In addition, increasing EBCT has a stronger effect on the efficiency
of mono chloramine removal by catalytic activated carbons than it does on conventional
carbons.
Because of the improved removal efficiencies of catalytic carbons, bed life can be extended
two to four times longer than can be achieved with conventional activated carbons.

Silver Impregnated Activated Carbon:
Our silver impregnated coconut shell based activated carbon offers a high quality safe media
for drinking water purification. Silver particles properly embedded on the surface of activated
carbon has greater bacteriostatic efficiency combined with the adsorption property of
activated carbon surfaces helps Removal of unwanted molecular species and Highest organic
and chlorine removal capabilities.
