The NSP DC Signature Series has been developed by Dale Chapman, Alain

Teurquetil and Travis Grant over the past 9 years. Dale is a legend in the SUP

community and rode the first wave in the first heat of the first SUP surfing

contest ever in Australia. Dale still rips and digs the paddle in as deep as

ever today, and he remains at the forefront of cutting edge design for the best

SUP surfers and SUP racers in the world. Alain is also a champion elite

paddler. He took out the Queensland State Title Championship and the

challenging Battle of the Paddle race in California in his division in 2014. He

is a technical design guru and there is no doubt his attention to detail and

innovative designs pay dividends on the water. With Travis Grant, we have

the credentials of a World Champion behind the designs we make – and the

cross discipline paddling knowledge he brings to the NSP design table result

in race winning performance on the water.

All NSP boards use an EPS (Expanded Poly Styrene) core, and NSP exclusively uses Securecell,

a completely fused, strong and waterproof EPS construction. It weighs less, is stronger and

absorbs ZERO water. The result is a foundation that is more responsive, lasts longer and

retains that lively “new board” feeling for the duration of its life.

with their specific requirements.

The range is broken into the various SUP disciplines: Flat Water Race, Surf Race, Ocean Race & Downwind Ocean

The design features a flatter rocker with a narrower version of the signature rounded nose. The recessed deck, lower centre of gravity and

forward wide point mean you can go narrower than ever while maintaining stability. The forgiving nose and narrow tail make it perfect

to be able to ride any bump that pops up while maintaining maximum efficiency.

This range was influenced heavily by Travis Grant. Dale, Travis and Alain worked together to create a board that could be raced

in small ocean conditions through to flat water. By reducing the width adding some more roll in the bottom they lowered the

deck slightly and kept the rail line high creating a well to give back the stability and keep it dry around the feet. This board takes

its inspiration from Outrigger canoes and Travis’ goal with the board was to have a board that he could race in the ocean and

flat water as well.

In 2013 Travis proved his design theory beyond doubt competitively with a bad knee and being unable to run by paddling away

from the world’s best paddlers far enough in front to hobble up the beach to take the victory. The event was the Battle of the

Paddle distance race and the paddling world was astonished.

This board is for the paddler keeping a constant eye on the wind charts. If your idea of the perfect day is a white-capping ocean or bay

and you want to railroad the bumps for as long as possible this is your board. Super forgiving with a high volume nose design, you can

go over or around the bump in front at will. Ocean surfing on wind bumps and ocean swells is a dream! The flattened deck allows maxi-

mum movement to get back easily in big, steep conditions. It also surfs amazingly well in breaking swells. So if you need to get out

through or come back into the surf zone this board is more than capable.

Designed to be at the front of the pack of the popular 12'6 race class the Surf Race range from Standard to Pro modes has great

flatwater speed and amazing stability and control in buoy turns, in and out of the surf and ocean conditions. These boards are also

All boards feature an extended concave towards the nose feeding into a

double concave through the tail. This design provides the ultimate

amount of stability, lift, flow and glide to get you into waves early and

with outrageous speed. The options on the wave and even to the air

above it are limitless.

Another innovation is the Vector Net carbon weave on the rails. The

overall construction is stringer-less EPS and each board is hand produced

and custom finished. Lamination is clear epoxy fibreglass and the unique

Vector Net rails provide controlled and lively flex, with reduced twisting

and amazing projection through and out of turns.

The NSP DC Surf range is a reflection of Dale’s current surf performance

boards - designed for the SUP surfer looking for short board inspired,

ultimate SUP performance. The outlines, rockers and bottom curves are

The NSP SUP Surf series is designed with in-surf, on wave usability and surf style performance in mind.

For days at the beach, the local point breaks, sand bars or reefs – the NSP Surf series has you covered.

All boards feature a pulled in tail for maximum manoeuvrability in all surf conditions, and a wide forward

point for efficient paddling, stability and fast, controlled wave entry.

The bottom features a little extra flip in the nose and a true single to double concave, helping generate

speed from paddling and take off, and smooth flow from turn to turn. The design migrates into a vee

bottom, with some rocker lift through the tail – allowing smooth and agile transitions from rail to rail.

With a five fin configuration right out of the box, the set-up options are there for you to exploit. If it’s the

drive and hold of a Quad, the more traditional, highly responsive Thruster - or the speed and simplicity of

a good old Single. Let the conditions and your feelings decide the ride set-up for the day.

The surf series is available in a range of sizes from 9’2” through to 10’6” to suit your surfing style and skill

level, and we also have a special addition to the range – the 9’8”.

The unique design of the 9’8” Surf is our equivalent to a “Fish” or “Egg” type SUP – when small wave,

hot-dogging fun or a bit more versatility is needed – the 9’8” is something that will work well for you.

In sizes starting at 10’2” and up to 11’6” this SUP design is a great first board for beginners or families alike. With its generous volume, it’s easy to

balance for riders of all sizes and skill levels. It features a modern, double concave bottom shape and fluid outline which will make this a super fun

board in the surf, under light to medium conditions.

In the 10’2” size, this board is a great board for the experienced rider looking for some versatility – while maintaining manoeuvrability in the surf.

As we progress through the 11’0” size, we add more volume for the larger rider who still wants the versatility an all round board can offer.

The 11’6” is perfect for cross training, yoga, flat-water adventure and as a casual surf partner. A great board to get the whole family involved in the

Allrounder models are also available in the ultra user friendly soft P2 construction – ideal for children, surf schools, coaching and other heavy usage

NSP polycarbonate fins for the FCS system are available in the M3 and M7

templates. These fins are manufactured under licence by NSP as authentic

replacement parts for NSP boards. We also offer a polycarbonate eight or nine

inch centre fin, and the ultra light carbon fibre foam core hatchet fins for our

race series SUPs.

in 2015 we offer the Brushed Carbon range. A full vacuum molded construction featuring a

carbon deck and rails with a wood sandwich in the standing area it offers a fantastic blend of

value, weight, stiffness and performance. With a hand finished ‘brushed carbon’ paint finish to

minimise weight and maximise efficiency across the water the Brushed Carbon range is ideal for

This is our super high end surf focussed SUP construction. Designed to deliver the feel that

intermediate to advanced riders look for when pushing the envelope and breaking new ground

with new moves. The innovative construction features the addition of Vector Net carbon fibre

rails. This helps deliver a unique flex pattern and superb feedback for the rider. The result is

better projection and improved ability to link poweful turns. This board lets the rider know

whether it’s time to bury a rail and drive, or push harder and waft the tail. The EPS stringlerless

core is wrapped in a complex fibreglass sanwich shell, then laminated and hand finished a with

crystal clear epoxy resin. This is the ultimate in surf performance SUPing.
