2010 has seemed to be the ‘year of disasters’, natural disaster that is. The first earthquake struck Haiti only, leaving around 200,000 dead and around 300,000 people are still trying to rebuild their lives in the poorest country in the Americas.

A little more than a month after the earthquake in Haiti, a much stronger quake shook Chile. The quake was so strong that it not only shortened the day, but also changed the geographic locations of some cities
