Project Scope At this stage you may require our services to provide you with a fully designedscheme, with scaled drawings or a design and installation service.Our tried and tested project scope will help identify and clarify thoseelements of the work that are fundamental to the successful delivery of theproject, e.g. desired outcomes, communication channels, timescales forcompletion, etc. Once we have agreed with you that the project scope successfully capturesthe desired work and outcomes, we will provide you with our firm and fixedquotation. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions above.

Project Management On receipt of your official order and instructions to commence work, we willprovide you with a project plan, highlighting key milestones.Projects are managed by Vertas Grounds Design using Smartsheet, whichyou will be given free access to, should you wish, in order for you to keepabreast of progress.

Eddie Peters,MSc, Cert Arb, DHE,NEBOSH, QTRAEddie has over 30 years’experience in the public and

private sector and can call upon his personalexperience in managing and maintaining twogolf courses, cricket pitches to County standards,winter sports pitches and a range of otherornamental natural turf areas, including a threeyear spell looking after the estate at RAFCollege Cranwell in Lincolnshire.

Before joining Vertas, Eddie held the position ofOperations Manager at Ipswich Borough Councilwith direct responsibility for over 800 hectaresof open space, including playing fields.

Eddie held the position of Outdoor LeisureManager at Canterbury City Council and workedwith a number of colleagues and partners tosecure external funding that has enabled clientsand customers to access external funding andmake improvements to local sports facilitiesbenefitting their communities.

John Taylor,Cert Arb, IOSHJohn has over 30 years’experience in the private andpublic sectors.

Over the last 9 years, John has been in hiscurrent role successfully delivering a number ofnew playing fields and multi-use games areas(MUGA's).

Philip Middleditch,IOSHPhilip started his careerworking for a landscapingcompany based in Woodbridge,Suffolk. Having worked in Local

Government for over 39 years and worked on avariety of initiatives designed to improve localsports facilities; Philip can call uponconsiderable knowledge and experience when itcomes to advising clients on the most costeffective approach to improving their existingplaying fields.

Iain McFadyen,BSc Landscape & Amenity Management, Dip LandscapeConstruction, IOSH

Iain has worked in the landscape industry forover 20 years and has gained his experienceworking in both the private and public sectorsacross the UK.

Iain held the position of Parks DevelopmentOfficer at the London Borough of Hammersmith& Fulham between 1998 and 2008, GroundsMaintenance Manager for English Landscapesand Landscape Technician for a well-knownSuffolk company before joining Vertas (formerlyEFMS) in 2015. Iain's highly developed skills incivil engineering and landscaping will ensure nodetail is overlooked, when planning and installingyour new all-weather surface.

Norman Perry, IOSH, Cert Hort, HNDVisual Comms, GraphicDesign – Starpack Award.

A fully trained and successful landscapepractitioner, Norman owned his own landscapedesign and installation business until joiningVertas in 2014.

His eye for detail and creative flair is put to gooduse when advising clients and customers abouttheir options for making the most from availablefunds and budgets.
